In 1080 Snowboarding, you can choose from 5 different riders who are Kensuke Kimachi, Ricky Winterborn, Rob Haywood, Akari Hayami, and Dion Blaster. If you want balance, pick Akari Hayami. If you want speed, pick either Dion Blaster or Rob Haywood. If you want tricks, pick Ricky Winterborn. Also, you can choose from 8 eight different snowboards. There are also 3 hidden racers and one hidden snowboard which you will have to earn.
This game has great control. You just have to use the control stick to move someone. A is for jump, and the other buttin is mainly for tricks
There are many various tricks you can perform that will be used in the Trick Mode and Contest Mode to get points. Some examples are Tweak (B+Right) and 180 (R+Left/Right). The 1080 is really hard to perform.
There are many different modes. There is Match race in which you go againist the CPU with 3 difficulty modes and race in a circut, Time Attack in which you try to get the best times, Trick attack where you try to pull off as many stunts as possible, Contest Mode in which you do many various trick attack courses in a contest, 2-Player mode in which you try to race againist a friend, and finally Training Mode in which you can learn how to do all the tricks.
