Into the near past you arrive...
The Sword Coast When Ore awoke, he found himself laying in a grove of trees located in The Lost Hills. He noticed all his belongings had vanished as well as his armor and weapons. No more were they ever needed. New items were to be found and implemented. However, what Ore did possess was his new friends, skills, and knowledge of this new Realm from his previous visits through the mystical portal--thanks be to Delft. Ore found that the adjustments would be easier than had he never visited before. Ore arose and made his way into the new life. |
The Aftermath After nearly another year and a half, Ore travelled the realm located around the Sword Coast. In his journeys, he crossed paths with about a half dozen of his Paladin friends that managed to somehow also escape the destruction of Yserbius. However, it has been many moons since he has ever seen then again. One particular Paladin warrior, now a member of a sea faring guild, still remains in the Sword Coast and he runs a fencing business located somewhere inside the Realm. |
A Special Meeting Then, to his great surprise, late one night after a deep journey to retrieve a Fine Long Bow in West Bridge, his father joined him at a table while Ore dined in a tavern located in Neverwinter Square. His father told him that he had safely made it out of Yserbius through another mystical portal that Delft identified to him. She had used this mystical portal personally for years. His father told Ore that he had assumed Ore was dead. Faith left Duke O to traveling The Forgotten Realms alone for what seemed forever, carrying the sadness of his great losses in his heart. But now that too has come to pass. |
Ore learned from his father that he had taken on the new identity of Duke Or, thus adding an "r" to the O. Ore was very happy. He also learned from his father that he had a new position in the Neverwinter Square helping Lord Nasher train all the adventurers that passed through the Sword Coast. Ore was very happy. After this great meeting of father and son, there was a huge feast and celebration for all. |
The Sacred Silver Blades Once again, Ore felt the need to ban together with brothers and sisters in the cause of good and chivalry against evils that had moved into the Sword Coast. Late one eve, while studying the records of the Sword Coast in a local temple, a holy man told Ore of a guild most worthy of his knowledge and flail. This guild was known as the Sacred Silver Blades. Although not the first time Ore had heard of this particular guild, Ore knew in an instant that he had to seek membership into this highly acclaimed group of warriors. |
One day, Duke Or had told his son a tale of his travels into the Woods of Neverwinter. As the story goes, Duke Or was making his way through the great thicket near a year ago, when he crossed into a battle along side a few members of this guild. After helping them defeat the fowl of the moment, Duke Or exchanged well words and was on his way. It was much later after that incident and after talking with his father, Ore again heard the good word of The Sacred Silver Blades. This all stayed in the back of Ore's mind until the time was right. |
In recent times Ore decided to seek membership with the Sacred Silver Blades. Many new friends and adventures are abound. His tale is finally told for all to help bear the rocky history along his side. Long past but never forgotten are the days of Yserbius and the screams and gnashing of teeth that rode the wave of fear during the crashing of the void in The Unknown. |
