Who is DEADSTICK?

My Air Warrior handle is DEADSTICK. My CPID is DSTCK.I am 16 and I live in Edmonton,Alberta,Canada although I was born in Houston,Texas,U.S.A. I have the best of both worlds. I am fascinated with dogfighting and WWII and WWI era combat. I'm a war buff plain and simple. This page was created to let my victims know who blew their ass off!

How it all began

One year ago, I found myself looking around AOL with my brand new computer. On my adventures through the service, I stumbled on a game I had never heard of before. It looked cool so I downloaded the start-up software and was playing the next day.

3DPRO takes to the skies!

When I began the game for the first time, it asked for a callsign. Wow! I thought, just like the days of the luftwaffe and the RAF. One problem, what would it be? I decided on 3DPRO, based on my Microsoft Sidewinder. It took some getting used to but soon I became an average pilot, able to fight with the best of them.

Advancement through the ranks

After I cancelled my AOL account, I remained in the "Ready Room", waiting for another opportunity. That oppotunity came when I signed on Delphi. This time I had thought of a new callsign in my training time. Inspired by my first death on-line, where my opponent killed my engine(I got my revenge, you can be sure of that!), I called myself DEADSTICK. This name seemed to bring me more confidance as I climbed my way to the ACE level on Delphi. The game began to die out as a newer version was released, Air Warrior II. Within a month, there where only 15 or so at a time in the Air Warrior arenas. I soon found myself as an "unemployed pilot" as I said goodbye to Delphi.

Flying in the shadows

May 15th, 1997. I returned to the on-duty list as Air Warrior II is loaded into my computer. Now I see why everyone is flocking to the newer game. It's Unbelievable. As I continue to touch up my skills offline with lots of practice and hard work, I continue to see an increase in-flight time and my kills soar!One thing is for certain, DEADSTICK WILL BE BACK!!!!

About DEADSTICK on-line

During my time on-line I remained a loner, getting my own kills, fighting my own fights, but that style got boring, no one to laugh at the enemy with, no one to acknoledge your kills or your history, and no one to talk with on those long flights to KICK YOUR ASS ville. So as soon as I return, I hope to form a squadron so powerfull that no one could stop!

Future Plans

I hope to re-affiliate with AOL when Air Warrior II gets set up, because of it's vast number of players' but who know's I just may wind up in your "Territory"!

Future Events where I will make an appearance

Right now I am waiting for the biggest online event to ever grace our computer screens to open their FREE testing. The Event: Big Week.This historic scenario will allow 1000 players on at one time. A message to all Air Warrior II players; If you don't know about this, find out NOW! Testing opens after Memorial Day and the actual event itself is entirely FREE!!! If you don't have the game get the downloadable demo from Aries Online Games This is a must see event!
