Comments: A decent game for the system it is on, still good today.

You start off the game as a prisoner of the evil king. Every day you are forced to fight monsters for the kings pleasure. One day your best friend is killed in the ring and you vow to avenge his death. Now the game actually gets started. You travel all over the world in search of the Gema knights to seek assistance in your quest, only to find out that you are the last on in the world. You are given the duty of protecting the Mana Tree from the evil forces.

This game was one of the first RPG's I ever played. It was so good I have been hooked on them ever since. The graphics may not be the greatest, but it made up for it with an awesome plot line. The only thing that really annoyed me was when enemies surrounded you and killed you before you could do anything. The music is nice but very short and repetitive, some can get very annoying.

If you are one of those people who have played almost every RPG out there I would suggest this game. It is fun, challenging, and best of all, portable. Makes those long car trips that much more tolerable, now if only you could find some way to get rid of your little brother too.
