Randi- | This is the main character in the game. He is banished from his home town after breaking it's protective seal. His mission to restore the Mana sword begins here. |

Purim- | This is the girl that saves you from being eaten by the goblins. She leaves you to search for her boyfriend Dyluck. She will join up later asking you to help her find him. |

Popoie- | This strange little guy is found in Gaia's Navel. He tries to cheat you out of money, but when you catch him, the Dwarf Elder makes him join you in your quest. His main reason to go with you is to revive his memory. |

Gema- | This strange man appears the day you are banished. He helps you fight the first boss and tells you about the sword. What else does he know of Mana? |

Dyluck- | This is Purim's boyfriend. He is a general in the fight against the empire. He seems to dissapear while investigating a witches castle. |

Luka- | She is the first one to tell you about the fate of the planet and your role in it's future. She also helps you find the other Mana Palaces in the world. |

Neko- | An interesting cat that will sell you anything under the sun. From candy to magical walnuts to armor, he has it all. He has the strange habit of appearing in the oddest places. |
