Gemstone Terms and Definitions
The Game Mechanics and what all those Abbriviations mean
Age - This is used in place of "Level" as it is more in character than running around Asking "Hey what level is that creature?" It is better to say "Ya know that Critter was way up der in age". [Also see Trains]
AS - Attack Strength. This is the base of all physical attacks, be it a blade or a Elemental Bolt.
Avarage Health Points - This is determined by checking over a number of kills made, checking each point done. but not including instant kill crits. this is not in all ways accurate, but is a estimate of the avarage, so you have a clue as to what yer trying to remove from the critter.
DS - Defence Strength. This is the base for fending off physical attacks.
MD - Manuever Defence
MAvA - Manuver Attack versus Armor.
AsG Armor Type -
CvA - Cast versus Armor.
AvD - Attack versus Defence.
CS - Casting Strength.
Spells - These are covered by Four spheres of magic. Elemental, Spirit, Sorcerer , and Mind (bardsong).
TD - Target Defence.
Bolt AvD - Bolt Attack versus Defence. This is used against the elemental bolt attacks most commonly used by Wizards and wand users. Also there is is the Elemental attacks of Holy Bolt and Fire Spirits spells.
Skin - Some creatues can be skinned once they are dispatched. This lets ya know if you can skin them and what type of skin you get.
Skin Avarage Value - This lets ya know he value generally given by the Furrier for the type of skin.
Treasure - general idea of the critters loot generation, some give some don't.
Equipment Carried - Typical equipment that is carried on the critter. Remember, the critters in mule my not generally be the same as the critter in Landing or elsewhere.
Personal Notes - These are my thoughts and ideas on these critters.
Description - This is the appearance that you see in the game when you "DESC <critter>"
Location Found - This is the location you can find the critters.
Defence Strength -
Attack vs Defence -
Casting Strength - Casters Level x 3 + Spells in circle being cast x 1.0 + Spells in other spells known x 0.5 + Stat bonus = Total Casting Strength.
Example: I'm Level 35 with 20 minor spirit, 20 Major spirit, and 25 Cleric spells. My total casting strength if I was casting a clerical spells. 35 x 3 + 25 x 1.0 + 40 x 0.5 + Wisdom bonus 25 =
