Symbol of Need

Likely one of the most powerful tools granted by the Arkati, this symbol has stopped me from decaying alone several times.  To complete this step, you must touch the brass shrine located in the wrecked village.  The village is located in the Coastal Cliffs.  Directions from the Voln courtyard are W, W, W, go trail, S, S, SW, W, go bridge, W, W, NW, N, N, N, N, N, NE, NW, NW, NW, go road, W, W, NW, SW, S, SW, SE, S, S, SW.  There touch the shrine and you will recieve the completion message.  Go back to the monk and he will instruct you in the Symbol of Need.
