Symbol of Protection

For this task, you need to bury an acorn on Imaera's island.  Obviously, you need to get an acorn.  go to Town Square in Wehnimer's and look on the ground.  Your best bet is Town Square Central, but I have seen them everywhere in Town Square.  Acorns are thrown by squirrels from the tree.  They can be few and far between.  I waited an hour when I was getting mine.  Once you have an acorn, you need to go to Imaera's island.  This is a dangerous area, containing Krolvin mercenaries and pumas.  If you don't think you can handle it, you might ask for an escort at the Voln courtyard.  From the West gate of Wehnimer's Landing, go S, S, S, SE, E, E, go bridge, climb bank, NE, NW, N, N, NE, N, NE, NE, N, N, NE, N, climb rockslide, E, SW, SE, NE, N, N, N, N, SE, S, SE, SE, E, E, go path, NW, NE, E, E, SW, down, SE, go shore, swim water, swim island, go island.  Now bury your acorn.  You will recieve the completion message.  Return to the monk and he will instruct you in the Symbol of Protection.
