On April 16, 1945, the Russians began their all out push on Berlin. Spearheading their assaults were these heavy beast, armed with a 122mm gun, they could kill the German heavies with relatively ease. This model depicts one of the first Stalin heavies to enter the German capital. It features the typical white bands that were present on most Soviet armour during the fighting. This bands prevents friendly fire incidents which were common in the urban lybarinth of Berlin. It is interestng to know that during the 3 weeks of fighting, the Russians lost over 300 tanks in Berlin alone.
