Welcome to my walkthru for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time! I am currently starting a new game so I can do the best walkthru possible. I will put each section up as I get done, complete with maps (where needed)!
Part Two: The Princess of Destiny
So, now that you have the Spiritual Stone of the Forest, it's time to head out into the world. Stock up on any necessary supplies you think you might need, say goodbye to your friends, and head on out.
As you are leaving, Saria will confront you. She will give you an OCARINA which will come in quite handy. She will then watch as you run off out of the forest.
HYRULE FIELD
Ahh...the world at last! As you step out into Hyrule Field, you are greeted by an owl. Listen to him well. After you are finished talking to him, head off in a northernly direction, to the Castle. Watch out for Peahats, and if it gets dark before you reach the gates, you will have to wait til morning to get in. Don't worry about the Stalchildren, they are easy-pie to defeat...just slash away!
Once you get inside the walls of the town, go in the first door on your right (before the market). Smash all the pots for some good cash, and roll into the crates...one of them has a Gold Skulltula in it. Go out and come back in, and smash pots until you have 80 rupies.
MARKET
Once inside the Market, visit the shop and buy a Hylian Shield...you will need it later. Talk to people, especially the little red-hair girl, Malon. She will tell you that her dad owns Lon Lon Ranch, and went to deliver milk at the castle, but has not gotten back yet. Explore a bit if you want to. When you are ready, head north towards Hyrule Castle.
If you visit the Market at night, you can walk up to a dog and press A to have it follow you. Get the white dog by the Item Shop to follow you, and take it to the woman's house in the alley. She will give you a piece of heart.
HYRULE CASTLE
When you get to the gate, the guard will not let you in....fancy that! Wait until nightfall and you will hear some singing...go back towards where you came in, and you will see Malon. Talk to her and she will give you an egg. Climb the vines behind her, and jump down on the other side of the gate. To elude the guards, do as follows:
Walk along the side of the hill on the left of the path...when you see the 2 guards on the path, head up onto the grass and cut straight across to the wall with bushes and butterflies. Head north and you will see some bricks...climb up them and go jump in the moat. Swim to the other side, and hop up onto the little bit of land. Look around and you will see some crates and a guy sleeping. Wait til morning, and a chicken will hatch out of the egg. Use it next to the guy and he will wake up. It's Talon, the owner of Lon Lon Ranch (and Malon's dad). He will take off running. Push the crates off the edge, one at a time. Climb up onto them, jump across the the small hole, and crawl through.
Once inside, go left and elude the guards (it must be daytime or you won't be able to). Hide behind bushes and walls and run for it when you have an open spot...and forget the rupies, you can get more easy. After you have eluded the guards, you will find yourself in the Castle's courtyard. There is someone here too......
Zelda, the Princess of Destiny!
Go and talk to her, and she will tell you of her dreams and prophocies. After talking with her, she will give you a letter. Take good care of that! You will then meet her guardian, Impa. She will teach you your first song, 'Zelda's Lullaby'. After that she will lead you out of the castle.
Stock up on supplies if you need them. It's time for more adventure!
