2001 stuff

Horizon

It all begins where thought ends
My friends all there to comfort me
From the daily task at hand
To survive the trials God gives me
Each day I grow stronger
And stronger still

My will becomes more my own
Easier to grasp what I want
What life means to me
To find myself
My heart learns from
Past mistakes
Do not be trapped by their smiles
Though intoxicating to the heart I know
Much more
And better

I have fallen many times before
But I rise from the floor
With a heightened view
of you

shimmer

I stand almost alone
Then I turn and see the faces
Those I can see through
I see diamonds of love
Red sapphires of peace
And emralds of kindness
They all embrace me
With tears streaming
From both our faces

They leave me and I am left
Lonely
Waiting for someone
To reach out their hand
And place my heart back where it should be
My life shimmers in the candlelight
Though the flame is dim and dying
I must sparkle and
Shine

The Other Ones

Two towers fall down
Gargantuan marvels in the ground
Millions lost and none to find
Only move the grit and grime
Yet we go on and must survive
While our pain we have to hide

Sick of hate we all join hands

A single "no" echos throughout the land
Our vengance, we will have our time
To fight and kill your murdered minds
Your hate is all in vain
Your acts but fan the flame
And we will win
We will win

FDR

Open door too my life
Where will the day lead me
Down paths of despair
Through halls of hate
Or to where I become who I Am
My senses darken to
See the light
Of my pain
And endless fight

The shattered moon shall never shine
As bright as back when you were mine
Darkness now is all I know
As I feel the numbing snow
