Full Plate Mail
Full Plate Mail is very heavy cumbersome suit of armour which is made from steel plates welded and shaped to fit the body. While offering a high degree of protection against most forms of attack, it takes its toll on the wearer by tiring them, making them uncomfortable and slowing them down. It is best suited for powerful fighters with big heavy weapons in large areas. Sneaking around is virtually impossible in Full Plate Mail because every move and step is loud and obvious. Full Plate differs from other plate armour in that it is a 'complete' rig with very heavy steel plates. much longer to put on!

A Wooden Shield, also known as a buckler, is a small round shield that straps to the arm to be used as a defensive object while the other hand, ideally, wields some sort of weapon . With training, the shield can give distinct advantage in combat allowing a different range of maneuvres to the experienced fighter.

Scale Mail Armour.
Scale Mail is essentially a shirt of close-linked metal made from hundreds of tiny metal scales which acts to stop penetrating weapons and reduce the damage done by bludgeoning weapons by both stopping the edge from reaching the skin and spreading the impact over a wider area of the armour. Scale mail is heavy to wear and noisy too. It restricts movement to a fair degree and is uncomfortable to wear over long periods of time or to sleep.

Crusader Shields - (these are generic)
These large steel shields are granted to a Crusader upon his or her acceptance in to an Arm of the Pantheon. They carry a holy enchantment granted by a High Priest which gives the wearer +5 greater protection against Unnatural opponents such as Undead and Demonic creatures. The Crusader Shields enchantment also prevents it from being equipped by any but a crusader.

Steel Gauntlets
Steel Gauntlets are huge metal gloves which fit over the hands of a warrior or adventurer to give great protection to them. They are particularly useful in melee combat since they can prove valuable against tricky blade and mace attacks aimed at smashing the knuckles. On the other hand, use of the
Gauntlets makes it difficult to do anything needing manual dexterity. For this any character classes who are not allowed metal armour are also not allowed gauntlets.

Midnight Armor
... is a variant of Leather armour, The hide is died black so as to be afford maximum blend with dark areas... and a certain panache. It is then enchanted with a low-level magical aura which grants the user higher defence that normal leather. The final, but very useful power of Midnight Armour is that in times of great need a command word can trigger a hidden spell built into it which heals a character up to 50 points of damage ... although this destroys the armour completely.
The armour does not need to be equipped for this power to be used.

Studded Collar
A Studded Collar is the mark of a tough dog! These suave doggy items are the ultimate status symbol for the heroic hound.
Although they have little value other than the fact that they look pretty cool. A low level enchantment is placed in Studded Collars to grant a dog +5 protection against "normal" attacks.
Studded collars can only be equipped by Dogs and Wolves.
