IGW By-Laws

Article I.  Membership Requirments and Rules.

No member shall belong to any other Wizard Guild or Guild which would
rival or own. Unless by special Permission granted by the Chairperson of
the Council (Gray Wizard).

Article I a.  Any Guild member caught giving secrets to any other Guild
without Permission of the council (Gray Council) Will be put under Guild
arrest.  They then will be put on trial by the council (Gray Council).
If found guilty the Gray Wizard then will place sentence on them.

Article I b.  Any Member not acting in the best interest of the IGW may
be expelled by the council on a two-thirds vote, by recommendation of the
Gray Wizard.

Note:  I left this open as a catch all, if we have problems with a member
and want to get rid of him/her.  I hope to never have to use this, but
it's good to have an escape clause.)

Article II.  Breaking the Kings Law.  Any member of the IGW caught
violating the KInds Law, Will be reprimanded by the Council.  Any further
violations of the KIngs Law will result in a Trial of Expulsion, by the
Gray Council.  We are a Lawful organization and expect all of our mebers
to follow the Law of the land.

Article II a.  Any member of the IGW committing murder will automatically
be Expelled from the Guild.

Article II b.  Any Council Member (Gray Council) who has been reprimanded
may be expelled from the council with a two-thirds majority vote.

Article II c. An expelled member of the Guild may petition the Gray
Council for reinstatement.  The Council then will review the  petition on
vote on whether to reinstate or not.  This requires a Two-Thirds
majority.

Article III The Council.  All members of the Council (The Gray Council)
will have one vote.  Except, for the Chairperson (The Gray Wizard), who
is responsible for directing the vote and submitting the proposals.

Article III a.  The only member of the council can enter a proposal to
the floor to be voted on is the Chairperson (The Gray Wizard).  Members
who have a proposal must send it to the Chairperson (the Gray Wizard) for
review.  If the Chairperson determines the proposal valid he then sends
it to the floor with the Sponsors name attached.

Article III b.  If a proposal is sponsored by One-Fourth of the voting
members of the Council then the Gray Wizard must present it to the floor
for a vote.

Article III c.  All proposals will be submitted on Monday and members
will have one week to vote on them.  the tallies will be taken the
following Sunday night.  Two Thirds of the voting members are required to
have a Quorum.  If a Quorum is not meet then the proposal must be
resubmitted.

Article III d.  Votes may either be Yea, Nay, or Abstain.  An Abstain
vote will be counted for Quorum purposes only.

Article III e. Most proposals will need a simple majority to pass, this
will be determined by the Gray Wizard.

Article III f.  Any proposal that will cause the Guild to go to War or
speaks for the Guild officially, must have a Two-Thirds majority vote of
ALL voting members to pass.

Article III g.  Any member of the council may speak his mind in Public.
But, if he uses the Guild or the Councils name in his statement he must
have Permission by the Council to do so.  A reprimand may be issued to
any member who breaks this. This will be up to the council.

Article III e. Council Member Removal.  IF in the opinion of the Gray
Council and the Gray Wizard.  A council member is not acting in the best
interest of the Guild then he may be removed by a Two-Thirds majority of
ALL voting members.

Article III f.  New Council Member acceptance.  If in the Eyes of the
Gray council and the Gray Wizard a member of the Guild acts in such a way
that distinguishes himself.  They may vote him into the council with a
Two-Thirds majority vote of ALL voting members.

Article III g.  Once a member of the Council this position will be
consider hereditary.

Article III h.  the only way to leave the council is through death.  Once
a member always a member.
