Irvine Kinneas
Irvine is not a student of the Balamb Garden Military School, instead he attends the Galbadian Garden which, incidentally, attacked the Dollet Dukedom in the recent Final Fantasy 8 Demo. He calls himself the best shooter around with his shotgun type weapon. He is very confident and although he can appear insensitive and cold, deep down he is delicate, sedate and serious.
Selphie Tilmett
Selphie was recommended for Seed when she was young and, dispite rumours, Squall and herself are nothing more than classmates; Squall's love interests lie, for the moment at least, soley with Rinoa. Though she is quite optimistic, her good mood and livelyness is sometimes an annoyance for those who are with her. Judging by this escription, we can say that Selphie is going to be to Final Fantasy 8 what Yuffie was to Final Fanatsy 7.
Quistis Trepe
With her amazing fighting skills, Quistis entered Garden at 10 and graduated to the elite SeeD at the age of 15. Quistis had a harsh early life, living in an orphanage for the first five years of her life, and in the years that followed,she has had a hard struggle.Now, however, with her past behind her, she is a superbly skilled teacher at Balamb Garden sharing her many talents with her close students.
Cid Kramer
By reason of fate, the softly spoken Cid Kramer became the President, or principle, of the Balamb Garden after he founded it in circumstances that are not known at this present time. Squall and others grew up with Cid, to whom they deeply trust and respect. From his belief to grow pupils up as unique human beings, and his soft-spoken temprament and mild manner, Cid trained his students up to be an elite set of soldiers, the likes of which are feared throughout Balamb and other Dukedoms.
