Tournament Report by Shosuro Roozu

Here's a little report about how us Scorpion's did in a 30/30 open
tournament. I was the only Scorpion player around( yes, sorry Roozu),
so alomst everybody thought: Well, Scorpion.....Dishonor!
WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I played Scorpion Militairy, with some dishonor(like it more than Honorrun,
so sorry Valheru) to slow things down.

Round 1: Crab 0-2
As we started the first turn, my opponent was surprised to see me playing Militairy
and was beginning to get scared. I played with the Towers and he didn't had any followers......
With a Take the Initiative, the first game was mine! Then the second one:
The moment I had enough force I attacked him with four personalities and
he blocked with three. Unfortunately he had more strength and played Deadly Ground
and another after I used my Superior Tactics. After a couple of turns,
he played the Crab Sword and had a scary personality(so he thought..)
He attacked one of my provinces with the Sword Crab and another with the rest of his personalities.
I blocked only my undefended provinces. So he took one province and the choose
the battle with Silence(Crab Sword). I played Superior Tactics and moved Hisa there.
I bowed him and lost Hisa, played Counterattack and took his remaining two provinces!.

Round 2: Corrput Crab/Oni 2-1
Oni/Crab was very strong indeed, but not in the first round. In the end,
we both had an entire army on the table, we thought it was a stalemate.
But then I attacked and I won(Abresax with twelve followers and the Broken Sword).
Second game: he figured out that he had to take my provinces fast....so he did!
Last game was very close. I was able to bring out enough Scorps to block his Oni'
and holding a unbowed Scorp in the army to win the battle, but he got trashed with a Final Breath.
In th end I only got a Bayushi Baku and couldn't defend against four foul Oni's!

Round 3: Yoritomo/Ratling 2-0
This deck was the Ultimate Nightmare for the Yogo.....a very heavy follower deck!
thanks Hans!!! couldn't do much in the first game. he brought out those pesky Rodents,
who boosted the rest of the critters.
But the second game was more exciting and very close too.
In the end I had 3 Counterattacks, not knowing that he had 3 Rallying Cries!
I had still 3 provinces, he has one with a Ratling Village. I waited for him to attack,
because I had a very bad Fate Hand. He brought an Anc. Standard of the Mantis
a couple of followers and attacked with more force. I didn't defend and he used Rallying Cry.
he did that 3 times in a row.

Round 4: Weird Ninja 0-2
I think he was a talk-a-holic. Nothing worked as it should and he didn't got any personalities.
I toasted him in 20 minutes.

Well, I didn't get into the finals with only two points. So what, I had a fun day
and my deck worked better than expected.
