Assorted Aurors, all genders.
Various walk-ons, all genders, for Act II, Scene II.
Act I:
Scene 1: HUNCH calls NOSSAH into his office and lays out a picture of Phoebe. He talks about how Phoebe is heiress to a fortune and supposedly the ancestral guardian of the Enderon Stone, a bit of artifice which can increase the magical power of anyone who wields it tenfold. He says they believe that Beliel is after her. Reference is made to some history between Nossah and Beliel. Reference is also made to rats. Rats are Nossah's only fear after the encounter with Belial. He orders NOSSAH to take on an undercover mission at Mungos as mindhealer Ethan Hawke, stating he's arranged all this with Cardigan. He's to get close to Phoebe, who is an intern there, and protect her. It is vital that nobody realize he is nothing but a Mindhealer as this is the MLE's best chance to draw out Beliel and capture him while keeping Phoebe alive. NOSSAH accepts the assignment...with his usual grace.
Scene 2: NOSSAH reports to CARDIGAN, who shows him his office and his patient roster and introduces him to PHOEBE. PHOEBE immediately asks him some very technical MindHealer question and NOSSAH growls out the correct answer, having done his research. Enthusiastically PHOEBE delves deeper into it. NOSSAH handles this...with his usual grace.
Scene 3: BELIEL shows up and murders CARDIGAN so he can find Phoebe's shift information. Now there is nobody else who knows that Nossah is there. He goes to try to kill Phoebe, but ends up having to duck into a closet as NOSSAH, who he does not recognize right away, comes by with PHOEBE. He overhears another very technical exchange about the handling of patients between Phoebe and Nossah, PHOEBE asking question after question that goes far past NOSSAH's reading, NOSSAH faking it. BELIEL leaves, guessing that she has some protection, and resolving to figure out who it is so he can handle it.
Scene 4: NOSSAH gets PHOEBE shut up in a nice, safe archive behind his office where nobody will be able to get in without him knowing about it. He heaves a sigh of relief and sets up to just do guard duty when MARY, his first patient, shows up. He ends up having to deal with MARY, GEORGE, and TROY. The first two get his trademark harshness. He's actually having trouble figuring out why Troy even needs help.
Act II:
Scene 1: PHOEBE, having heard the exchange between NOSSAH and his patients, comes out to confront him, acting a little suspicious. NOSSAH simply deflects her questions and they stop by CARDIGAN'S office. There, they find the corpse. NOSSAH insists on taking PHOEBE home after calling MLE. HUNCH yells at him a little over the mirror, but NOSSAH, keeping PHOEBE out of earshot, snarls that it was his job to protect the girl, not the whole fucking hospital.
Scene II: Montage in the park. MARY is running and jogging with a big happy smile on her face. GEORGE is buying flowers, smiling and laughing. TROY has one girl in his lap and two on either arm. Someone tries to sell MARY ice cream. She passes it up and opts to buy a big happy balloon instead. Some guy trips GEORGE on his scarf and sends him into a mud puddle. GEORGE smacks him twice and walks past while he's still staring. TROY opens up a bottle of alcohol and passes it among the women, smiling for all he's worth. Happy music plays. Then they all meet in the center of the stage and declare Ethan Hawke, "THE BEST MINDHEALER THAT EVER LIVED!"
Scene III: NOSSAH is eating his breakfast. THERESA is telling him that he can't keep talking to his patients that way if he wants to keep his cover. GEORGE shows up at NOSSAH's house. NOSSAH is married, but Ethan Hawke is single, so there is an entire scramble to hide THERESA. GEORGE invites himself to breakfast since there's so much and "demonstrates his assertiveness" by asking NOSSAH to cook eggs that he has no idea how to cook. NOSSAH finally gets GEORGE out of there...with his usual grace.
Scene IV: NOSSAH gets to the hospital, late, to overhear someone asking PHOEBE for a date. He peers around the corner to see that, much to his disgust, its GEORGE. Disgust, but also relief that it wasn't BELIEL. He then catches sight of BELIEL and follows him, only to find a bunch of rats in the hall. NOSSAH freezes -- rats are his only phobia. BELIAL steps into the hall, laughing that he knows who NOSSAH is now and will take him out. NOSSAH wants to know how BELIAL guessed and BELIAL reveals that he was once a Mindhealer himself. A massive fight ensues that grows very complicated when MARY and TROY try to race to their "Mindhealer's" rescue. NOSSAH saves their lives only to hear BELIAL disapparate. Knowing that Belial is going after Phoebe, he follows. He finds GEORGE standing up in protection of PHOEBE, and though BELIAL brushes him aside with a Cruciatus curse, the fact that Nossah gave him a backbone gave him just enough time to save Phoebe. He nails BELIAL in the back with a well placed stupefy.
Scene V: ASSORTED AURORS come in to arrest BELIAL. The patients and Phoebe have a moment of "so you were an Auror all along!" NOSSAH grumbles and doesn't know what to think when they say he was the best mindhealer ever and they'll miss him. When TROY tries to hug him, he stupefies the guy and walks away as GEORGE and PHOEBE kiss.
