History: Jared and his half-brother, Adrian are orphans who were raised in Orloo, Ontario at an orphanage known as Hull House. Unlike most orphanages now and then, the wards of Hull House soon grew to possess strange, inhuman powers, perhaps due to the nearby location of the Department H Cosmic Collector Site. The children of Hull House who exhibited such powers were 'harvested' by Departmen H operatives. It is presumed that both Jared and Adrian are products of this harvesting. Both were trained under the auspices of the new Department H and made the newest members of the latest incarnation of Alpha Flight.

Psych. Profile: Jared is arrogant and overbearing, often bullying Adrian who is younger and less able to stick up for himself. One could conjecture that his mannerism is a direct result of his insulation from interpersonal contact that his force-field (see below) provides him.
