Stacia Kronenberg was born in what is now Slovakia 28 years ago. She is a professional dancer, recently arrived in America.
She's also a Super. 12 years ago, she and some friends spent the night in an old castle. It was a stormy night, and as is the case at night, dark. Somewhere a maid sighed but Stacia got locked in a dungeon cell as a practical joke by her friends.
The ghost of an occupant who died in the cell centuries ago was there, invisible. It did things to the girl as she slept. Stacia was awakened magically, and for 8 years the spirit rode her much in the matter a Voodoo loa rides it's "horses".
Eventually, she threw off her possessor, but retained the powers it had given her body.
Stacia can fly fast, is reasonably indestructible and heals rapidly. She also has some mastery over light and darkness, including a beam weapon-ish attack that woks more like flame jet than laser.
Her move to America was prompted by actions taken by the ghost that possessed her. It had used Stacia as a weapon against an old enemy of it's and as a result, an ally of that enemy actively hunts her. Moving across the ocean gives her some leeway, hiding amongst the larger population of American metahumans. |
