9/13/98: Detroit vs. Cincinnati - Barry Sanders breaks a tackle at the line of scrimmage to burst for a 67-yd touchdown run (1.39 MB).9/13/98: GB vs. TB - Reggie White sacks Trent Dilfer in one of his 3 sacks of the game, forcing a fumble. Green Bay sacked Tampa Bay 6 times in the game in the battle of the Bays (1.47 MB).
9/20/98: NYJ vs. Indianapolis - Leon Johnson, a former UNC star, takes an 82-yd pass from Vinny Testicalverde into the endzone (1.72 MB).
9/21/98: Dallas vs. NYG - Deion Sanders returns a 71-yard interception for a TD. He had 2 TDs in the game-- for the first time in his career (1.43 MB).
9/28/98: Oakland vs. Dallas - James Jett turns a near interception into a 75-yard TD catch by somehow grabbing the ball as it bounces off the cornerback's shoulder (1.30 MB).10/3/98: Atlanta vs. Carolina - Tim Dwight in his outstanding rookie season, returns the opening kickoff for a 93-yd TD, which soon led to Carolina's worst loss of the season (1.41 MB).
10/10/98: Cincinnati vs. Pittsburgh - Carl Pickens makes two mindboggling catches (first is a 50-yd pass on 4th and 12 from own 5) to complete a drive in the comeback win over Pittsburgh of 25- 20. In the winning TD reception, Neil O'Donnell catches the Pittsburgh defense slacking off, when they expect him to spike the ball for a field goal attempt. But instead O'Donnell tosses a 25-yd TD pass to Carl Pickens (1st 1.25 MB, 2nd 1.05 MB).
