- 8-bit Theater - A sprite comic parodying the events of Final Fantasy (the first one). Hilarious, and has quite a number of in-jokes for the hard-core gamer.
- Dragon Tails - An exceptionally well-drawn comic about a group of small (and often naive) group of dragons, a squirrel with delusions of grandeur, and many exploding objects. Light-hearted and guaranteed to leave you with a laugh.
- Class Menagerie - College, as told from a furry perspective. Class Menagerie is usually funny, but occasionally deals with some serious topics. It's technically over, but still worth reading.
- Megatokyo - The tale of two guys who hop a flight to Japan and get stuck there. Largo is a deluded 1337 |-|@x0r and Piro is ... well ... Piro. Also worth reading, but be prepared for "dead art" days when he gets behind in his work.
- Sluggy Freelance - The first online comic I've ever read, and still by far the best. Torg and Riff are simply the best comic characters I've ever had the pleasure to lay eyes on. The frequent parodies of popular shows and events (such as Buffy and Army of Darkness) are worth it alone. Then there's Lego Week, too.
- Bob and George - According to 8-bit Theater, this was the first sprite comic. It's a light-hearted and pun-filled parody of the many Mega Man games. Of course, it only started as a sprite comic because the author can't draw worth crap. (Neither can I, though.)
- Prophecy of the Angels - A new comic just starting up. It's based around a tavern on a sort of haven planet, and one of the main characters is an angel of death.
- Freefall - A comic dealing with one renegade alien con man, his pet robot, and the genetically-engineered wolf he "steals" to be his engineer.
- Elf Only Inn - This comic is so close to how some IRC and HTML role-playing chats are, it's scary. And you might even see the trademark like "It hurts and stings!" in other comics as well. UPDATE: As of July 2003, the guys who writes EOI said "screw this comic." It's no longer being drawn.
- Dan and Mab's Furry Adventures - A very funny kid-friendly tale of two friends, Dan and Mab, and the trouble they get into. Also features a few scantily clad amazon warriors and one succubus. Oh, and a yellow dragon-thingy named Pip.
- RPG World Comic - Yet another gaming parody, which draws frequent references to Final Fantasy and similar games, and I don't think there's a fourth wall left on this comic. If the main character, and Fighter from 8-bit Theater ever got together, the world would see a sudden vacuum of IQ points.
- Faux Pas - No, it's pronounced the way it's spelled. A G-rated comic about a bunch of trained animal movie stars getting bought by new owners and their cats.
- Fur Will Fly - Another furry comic, about a very odd guy named Brad who gets zapped into an alternate universe. The characters are very realistic and entertaining, and don't worry, the artwork improves.
- Patchwork Heroes - a third sprite comic done with FF6 characters. It's very intriguing, enough to hold my interest through lesbian cybersex. So it's got to be good, eh?
Assuming anyone comes back to this page, you might notice that the link to Black Tapestries is gone. After reading through a storyline with depicting rape and violent murder, including burning several people alive, Jakkal then has the nerve to call Chakats "disgusting, offensive creatures." Since I don't like dealing with hypocrites, I've taken down a link to Jakkal's comic, and ask anyone who reads it to reconsider supporting someone more comfortable with torturing a person to death than with a little consensual sex.
