Of course, no writer could be complete without listing what they, themselves, read for fun. So this section has all of the various fanfiction that I've read recently enough to remember and am recommending. Eventually, I might even sort them by what fandom they're part of, but for now, simply read and (hopefully) enjoy.

Love at First Fight - Diablo fanfiction, about an Amazon falling unexpectedly in love with her opponent.
Alathial - Diablo fanfiction, an alternate Diablo where the hero never defeated the Prime Evils, and the forces of good are on the run from Andarial in Khanduras.
Irresistable Poison - Harry Potter fanfiction, about Draco accidentally drinking a love potion and then seeing Harry.
Strictus Snipe and a Cure for Writers' Block - Harry Potter fanfiction, about Remus Lupin becoming a torrid romance novellist to make ends meet.
Wandless Magic - Harry Potter, where Hermione helps several wizards including Snape who find themselves suddenly exiled into Muggle society.
Shadows Over the Ceahlau Massif - Harry Potter, where Charlie accidentally runs into Wormtail and Voldemort shortly before Goblet of Fire.
Apothecary and Auror - Harry Potter, where Snape and James Potter are forced to work together in Azkaban prison, interrogating Death Eaters.
Into the Mouth of Hell - Harry Potter, where Snape confesses to Dumbledore and turns into the two-faced spy we all love.
Take Up Serpents - Harry Potter, where a young Tom Riddle travels to America to find another Parseltongue wizard to learn from.
Contemporary Magical Innovations, by H. Granger - Harry Potter, a humorous piece about Harry and Snape concocting a new type of magical weapons to fight the Mafia-style post-Voldemort Death Eaters.
Jenny - Harry Potter, where Ginny tries to cope with life after Harry vanishes during the final showdown against Voldemort.
Percy Weasley: Rogue Demon Hunter - Harry Potter, where the freshly fired Percy gets dragged into a number of adventures much against his will. Features a cameo appearance of Lorne, from Angel.
Among the Muggles Again - Harry Potter, where Harry has to go hide out in a Muggle neighborhood so that Dumbledore can convince the world he died.
The Founders' Legacy - Harry Potter, where an unfortunate Muggle librarian finds a scrap of parchment with the secret to taking over Hogwarts.
Miss Hogwarts - Harry potter, a humorous piece about the Miss Hogwarts beauty competition.
Let the Darkness Take You - Harry Potter slashy angst-fest, where Harry returns to school to find everyone slowly turning against him.
Slytherin in Gryffindor Clothing - Harry Potter slash, where Draco ends up in another world, where he's a Gryffindor and Harry is a Slytherin.
Oversexed, Overpaid, and Over Here - Harry Potter history, set in the days of WWII, it follows a young wizard volunteer from America who travels to Europe to help fight against the scourge of Grindelwald.
Celestial Requiem - Harry Potter, where Harry, Hermione, and two other students become editorial writers under aliases.
Realizations - Harry Potter, an alternate universe where Harry returns home after fourth year to discover that the Dursley's have moved away - and abandoned him.
Harry Potter and the Veil of Mystery - A sixth-year fanfic, where Harry becomes the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, and learns about Dumbledore's source of power.
Predictably Malfoy - A breaking-the-fourth-wall HP fanfic.
Crumpets Aren't My Style - A crossover between Harry Potter and Stargate SG-1. Sound odd? It really does seem to work.
