She knew a little
she felt a lot
driving along
through the dusty road
to a destination
no end shall know.
Punched in the face
screaming in terror
at what may come
to pass
through the eyes
of this young girl.
Looking about
mind screaming for freedom
that may never come
as the hands quickly descend
the clothes ripped off
and the beating begins.
Words spoken
yelps for help are never heard
as the man pushes himself
ever deeper in
and begins
to take innocence away
from one so young.
Suddenly it ended with but a smile
from the man
his laugh heard in her ears
as she pulled away
and he just drove home
laughing at how manly he is.
Pulling herself together
walking to a nearby house
the girl looked in
and asked for help.
All of town
heard the word
sneers and looks were shot her way.
But through it all
she lived
and is my friend this day.
