"THE MISSING PIECE"

All my life I've had people who care,
People who say they'll always be there.
And I knew I was loved and I knew I could count,
On those people whose love had no amount.

But something was missing.
I thought I could find it in life's overestimated things,
Or maybe the feelings that danger can bring.
But I was lost in my search, I felt burned,
Every stone I could I had overturned.

There was still something missing.
Then I met you and that's when I found,
The secrets that only love can bring 'round.
For on that wonderful day in December,
The stars were beautiful, as far as I can remember.

I found what I was looking for all that time.
Someone to hold, someone to love,
Someone to cherish, you must have been sent from above.
And I promise you this before the Lord and the sky,
I'll love you until the day that I die.
