Varin
Race: Electran
Rank: Platoon Lieutenant
Affiliation: Electran Conventionals
Varin is a young, tough, competitive officer of the Electran
Conventionals. He has short blond hair spiked up in the front,
and wears a dark blue Conventionals uniform with the sleeves
rolled up and a pair of black fingerless gloves. He makes plain
his contempt for the "spoiled" Special Forces and seems intent on
proving their inadequacy next to the Conventionals. And with his
obvious fitness, determination and martial arts prowess, he might
be capable of doing just that.
Cetina
Race: Electran
Rank: Platoon Lieutenant
Affiliation: Electran Special Forces
Sporting blond hair with short, spiky bangs, a bright red military
jacket with gold epaulettes, a golden sash and glimmering white
pants, Cetina does her part to hold up the pristine image of the
Electran Special Forces. She comes off as rather snobby and
elitist to those 'beneath' her, but is quite friendy and chattery
to those she considers her equals. In battle, she wields a
Republic Sabre with what some might call rather dubious skill.
Wincester
Race: Electran
Rank: Captain
Affiliation: Electran Conventionals
Captain Wincester comes from a long line of soldiers, and more
importantly, a very distinguished family. Dressed in a fastidious
blue uniform with shiny brass buttons and a hoard of medals on his
chest, Wincester is a man who certainly knows how to appreciate
soldiers who are looking their best. In fact, he has stated that
this last-minute briefing is crucial so that the performance of
the new rookie squadrons doesn't reflect badly on his family name.
He seems, at the least, to be a precise and competent instructor,
though his other abilities have yet to be witnessed.
Sergeant Slaughter
Race: Electran
Rank: Platoon Sergeant
Affiliation: Electran Conventionals
Loud and proud, the burly Sgt. Slaughter is a soldier to the core.
He's got a bluff, clean-shaven face and his buzzed brown hair is
hidden by his wide-brimmed Army hat. A set of green camouflage
fatigues and black army boots completes the ensemble, and what
with his outrageously loud shouting and stomping, it's an ensemble
that's very hard to miss. Perhaps unsurprisingly, this
rough-and-ready soldier serves as platoon Sergeant to Lt. Varin,
and is always ready to lay down his life for his unit, his
country, or really nearly any cause whatsoever.
Brock
Race: Electran
Rank: Platoon Sergeant
Affiliation: Electran Special Forces
An ex-elite-gym trainer, the squinty eyed Brock has signed on with
the Electran military for reasons known only to him. He has spiky
brown hair and sports a green military vest, a red shirt and brown
slacks. Although rumored to possess rock-solid defense, Brock's
number one characteristic seems to be his irresistible attraction
to anything remotely female. As such, he seems to have ended up
as platoon Sergeant to Special Forces Lt. Cetina.
Vidal Sassoon
Race: Electran
Rank: Platoon Sergeant
Affiliation: Electran Special Forces
The first, and often the only, thing that one would notice about
Vidal Sassoon is that he looks good. He wears an absolutely
immaculate white uniform with frequent red tassels and lining, as
well as a pair of brilliantly shined black shoes. His hair is
lustrous, black and perfectly styled in the latest European
fashions. Sassoon's other abilities remain rather vague and hazy,
but when you look as good as he does, nothing else really matters.
Quite naturally, Vidal Sassoon serves under Lt. Jenissa of the
Special Forces, and is certain to ensure that the troops under her
command are always looking their best.
Desrae
Race: Terrorian
Rank: Platoon Sergeant
Affiliation: Electran Auxiliaries
Sgt. Desrae makes quite a foreboding figure. Wavy brown hair
frames a hardened face with two exotic - and dangerously - slanted
eyes. She wears a crimson leather vest, black leather gloves and
pants and has a set of scaly bat-wings protruding from her back.
Her trusty PK-33 handgun is never far from her side, and she has
no qualms about making its presence known either. In fact,
Desrae's effort in any endeavor would seem, at first glance, to be
directly proportional to the amount of money involved. This
rather commercially-minded officer serves beneath Lt. Zeke of the
Auxiliaries.
Hal Johnson
Race: Electran
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: The Body Break TV Series
As well as being the co-host of his own TV series, Hal Johnson is
an acknowledged fitness guru. Despite being a slightly older
fellow, he is still in perfect health, sporting a short black
mustache, a blue-and-white windbreaker, blue sweat pants and an
impressive physique. Always full of encouragement and enthusiasm,
Hal was never one to let anyone back down from a fitness
challenge, be it a short warm-up or a marathon, and was specially
brought in to ensure that the soldiers leaving for the field would
be in the best condition they could be.
Doug
Race: ??
Rank: Supply and Munitions Manager
Affiliation: Electran Military Academy Staff
It's almost impossible for anyone to be less helpful than Doug. A
grey-haired man in a blue-and-grey flannel shirt and blue jeans,
he was in charge of issuing equipment at the City of Electra
Military Academy. His hobbies consist of ignoring people from
behind his computer screen and giving young officers the
bureaucratic run-around. If Doug had any combat skills, they
would likely involve towels in some way, but no one has ever
witnessed such skills, so this is really a moot point.
Khaurus Vanbaal
Race: Fenixan
Rank: Major
Affiliation: Electran Special Forces
Major Khaurus Vanbaal is not a pleasant looking man. Bright red
spiky hair, with a single braid by his left ear, frames a harsh
and angular face. The closest thing he has to a shirt is a set
of heavy leather bullet-straps crossing over his chest, and over
top of this he wears a red leather trench-coat with the emblem of
some kind of black bird stitched onto the back. The man's
temperament is a perfect match for his countenance, and he seems
to have little use for pomp or fanfare. As well as being among
the four highest-ranking officers of the Republic Special Forces,
he has also been put in charge of the Electran Field Camp and the
new recruits that are in the process of arriving there. Of
course, the presence of an obvious foreigner in such a
high-ranking position is an oddity in and of itself, but after
all, these are odd times.
The Duke of York
Race: Electran
Rank: Duke
Affiliation: Electran Conventionals
The Duke of York is a grand old man, who despite his advancing
age, looks to be in tip-top physical condition. He sports a
thick, white, walrus mustache, a tall British-style hat marked
with blue plumage, a royal blue officer's uniform and a whole
host of medals and decorations. The Grand Old Duke is quite the
jovial fellow, always quick to find the bright side to any bad
situation or gruelling bout of physical labor. In fact, he's
renowned throughout the Electran military for his marching
techniques, and is said to be able to command ten thousand men at
once! With such assets on his side, it's hard to find a more
respected officer throughout the Electran military.
Edward Byrne-White
Race: Electran
Rank: Major-General
Affiliation: Electran Conventionals
Edward Byrne-White is the very model of a modern Major-General.
He is smartly dressed in a beige beret and khakki military
uniform, and sports a truly gigantic pair of black
sunglasses. He also has a helicopter that's red and white, and
he likes it so much that he put in shag-rug and air-conditioning.
Which is an absolute necessity, given the amount of time he
spends in that aircraft. Byrne-White is known for his strict
adherence to rules and procedures, and his strong respect for
formal international boundaries, as well as a general intolerance
for discomfort of any form. It's said, however, that he is also
easily impressed by useless and dangerous displays of flashy
skill, but this rumor has yet to be confirmed in any way.
The Vanilla Coke Guy
Race: Unknown
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: Coca-Cola Inc.
This man's name almost says it all. Little is known about this
enigmatic fellow, other than the fact that he has a red Coke
jacket and a near infinite supply of new Vanilla Coke. He also
has a mysterious knack for showing up at unexpected times and
locations, and for sounding very sure of himself. However, he is
always more than ready to reward the curiousity of any
enquiring young mind.
Lanver
Race: Electran
Rank: Major
Affiliation: Electran Special Forces
The first thing that many people would notice about Major Lanver
is that he makes a rather handsome figure. Young and
clean-shaven, his jet black hair is done in a short black
cru-cut, and he wears a red jacket with a golden design etched on
one shoulder and a set of golden chains looping under his left
arm. Black pants and knee-high military boots complete the
outfit, and he carries a golden-hilted sword on a jangling chain
at his belt. Friendly and outgoing, the Major seems to be quite
the ladies' man, but despite both this and his youth, he is, like
Vanbaal, one of the Special Forces' highest ranking officers, and
that alone should be more than testament to his battle abilities.
Mace
Race: Electran
Rank: Captain
Affiliation: Electran Auxiliaries
The man called Mace looks and acts like a grizzled, veteran
soldier. His iron grey hair short and slightly curly, and his
weathered face is lined with countless scars. As a member of the
Auxiliaries, his 'uniform' is, perhaps as expected, less than
immaculate: a beat-up grey military shirt, a leather vest and a
utilitarian pair of black-and-grey army pants. Although gruff
and to the point, Mace seems always ready to help out the 'boys'
of the Auxiliaries against the regular Electran brass. His own
status, however, as an Electran in the Auxiliaries, is unusual
enough in its own right.
Carlo Rota
Race: Spheran
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: The Great Electran Food Show
Ha-hah! There's nothing more irresistible that describing
Carlo Rota. A smug face, a shaved head and an orange rain poncho
make up his most noticeable characteristics, along with the plate
of cheesecake that he seems to carry everywhere he goes. Carlo
professes to be the host of the Great Electran Food Show, a
travelling television series seeking out good food all
over Electra. Although smug and irritating to the extreme, Rota
was not a man to be trifled with, as his Smug Shouting and
powerful Friendly Shove could spell certain doom for any enraged
enough to engage him in combat.
Dr. Rumack
Race: Electran
Rank: Doctor
Affiliation: Electran Field Medicine Corp.
The distinguished Dr. Rumack is a deceptively competent looking
man, with combed grey hair, a professional brown suit, a
briefcase, and a ubiquitous stethoscope hanging around his neck.
Although seemingly calm and professional at first glance, a
closer inspection reveals Dr. Rumack's medical techniques to be
somewhat questionable. The Doctor is known both for having
extensive experience with food poisoning, and for misinterpreting
extremely obvious statements.
Glenn Beck
Race: Electran
Rank: Captain
Affiliation: Electran Acquisitions Corps
On a first impression, it's hard to believe that Glenn Beck is a
member not of the Electran Bitterness Division, but of
Acquisitions. And the impression only goes downhill from there.
A bitter-looking, grey-haired man in a dark blue suit and with
dark, rectangular mirrored sunglasses, Beck seems to hate the
world as a whole, and has absolutely no respect for any Electran
military division other than his own. In fact, he seemed to have
a particularly low opinion of 'soldiers,' and the fact that they
were only interested in beer and marijuana. After all, surely
these were the only items that could maximize the lazy soldiers'
utility. And complaining about it seemed to be the only
activity that would maximize the utility of Beck himself.
Kal Meecham
Race: Electran
Rank: Captain
Affiliation: Republic Air Force (RAF)
A tall man with a remarkably deep voice, Kal Meecham sports a
head of buzzed brown hair and a dark blue pilot's jump-suit. As
a member of the RAF, he'd come to Field Camp in order to
establish an airbase for the Electran frontline operations, as
well as escorting an important visitor. If first experience is
any teacher, his main hobbies seem to include flying strangely
glowing airplanes and hiding from his peers and subordinates. It
was also discovered that he had been a prominent scientist prior
to being called into service, as well as the only man alive who
could fly a jet plane and still be late for work.
Roger Murdoch
Race: Loracian
Rank: Sergeant
Affiliation: Republic Air Force (RAF)
Roger Murdoch serves as flight-sergeant to Captain Kal Meecham in
the Republic Air Force. Murdoch is a tall, black man with short
hair and beard, and he wears a white air force hat, a
professional white air force shirt with the usual RAF wings and
badges, and a pair of shiny yellow basketball shorts. Murdoch's
major characteristic is his steadfast denial of the insinuations
that he is in fact the famous basketball player Kareem Abdul
Jibbar. Of course, what would a famous basketball player be
doing in the RAF anyway?
Jesse 'the Body' Ventura
Race: Electran
Rank: Senator
Affiliation: Electran Republic Senate
Jesse 'the Body' Ventura is an ex-wrestler turned politician,
whose ascention into the Senate made big news several years back.
He is known for his rather 'innovative' policies, which seem to
mostly involve crushing and destroying his opponents, and he is
his said to be backed by a top-notch team of political experts.
The Body is an absolutely gigantic man, with a shiny bald head,
dark mustache and a professional tweed suit. His purpose for
coming all the way up to Field Camp was to ensure that tax-payer
dollars were being put to good use in the defense of the nation,
and to teach the soldiers there a thing or two about 'real'
fighting.
Vince McMahon
Race: ??
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: WWE News Network
Vince McMahon is a cunning and aggressive journalist for the WWE
(World Wide Editorials) News Network. Vince is a big man, and he
makes his presence known with his bright white suit jacket, black
polo shirt and ubiquitous microphone with the letters 'WWE' on it
in big red font. McMahon had apparently come to field camp in
anticipation of Senator Jesse Ventura's visit, as well as to
report on the war situation to the public at large. This
'reporting' seemed, however, to mainly involve stirring up
dissent and controversy among the military ranks. Above all,
Vince McMahon is the kind of man who will bring home the scoop,
and the ratings, no matter what it takes.
Mean Jean
Race: ??
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: WWE News Network
Mean Jean is Vince McMahon's reporting partner for the WWE News
Network. Considerably shorter than McMahon, Mean Jean sports a
balding head, blond walrus mustaches and a referee's shirt. His
main purpose seems to be to stand around and let Vince ask him
rhetorical questions and then be cut off before he can answer.
As such, he has yet to really say anything beyond the phrases
That's right and I can't believe it.
Stone Cold Steve Austin
Race: ??
Rank: ??
Affiliation: Republic...military?
There ain't much to be said about Stone Cold Steve Austin. Why?
'Cuz Stone Cold said so. Austin's looks alone are more
than enough to terrify any foe: a bald head, a dark goatee, an
obnoxious sneer, black wrestling tights and knee-pads, and a
black leather leather vest with a burning white skull on one side
and the numbers 3:16 on the other. Stone Cold is a crucial
member of the military and has personally come to the frontlines
to send the Spherans packing like the jackasses they are. Of
course, all of this by Stone Cold's own words, but when you ARE
the bottom line, is there anything else that really matters?
Vygrymm, Dragon of Sphere
Race: Spheran
Rank: Warlord
Affiliation: The Spheran Coalition, Dragon Division
The mere appearance of the man known as the Dragon of Sphere is
often enough to send opposing troops fleeing in panic. His
fearsome armor is constructed from bleached Drakkhaan bones, and
an elongated helmet casts his face in shadows. A tassle of black
Drakkhaan hair falls from the crest of his helmet, and a black
cape hangs ominously from his shoulders. His weapon of choice is
a slightly serrated Spheran long-blade that is sure to cut any
man who dares stand against him cleanly in two. The Dragon is
said to be the driving force behind the formation of the Spheran
Coalition, and leads the Spheran army through sheer force of his
prowess. Facing him on the battlefield is surely nothing but
doom for any man.
Model
Race: Electran
Rank: Field-Marshall
Affiliation: Electran Conventionals
The esteemed and, of a certitude, very important Field-Marshall
Model is a man who knows how to live the good life. And refined,
older man with neatly combed grey hair and a darker complexion,
he wears a heavily medal-adorned navy blue uniform and a gigantic
blue General's hat. He can also almost never be seen without an
expensive cigar and a glass of cognac in hand. In truth, there
are those who might doubt his military competence, perhaps due to
his seeming lack of concern for anyone but himself, but for such
an important man as he, surely such concern is more than
justified.
Funky
Race: Chalchakian
Rank: Sergeant
Affiliation: Electran Conventionals
It would be easy to assume that Funky was some kind of
grease-monkey mechanic or even a drug-dealer, but the last thing
that he looks like is a soldier. Dressed in an over-sized
hawaiian shirt, a pair of baggy denim shorts and a backwards ball
cap, he sports both a slender, funky mustache and a pair of black
shades. However, what he lacks in soldierly appearance, Funky
more than makes up in his expertise in heavy weapons and
demolitions. However, although his skill in these matters is
unquestionable, his integrity is not, as he has often been known
to offer the sale of seemingly black-market armaments at
strangely calculated prices. Still, if there's something you
need built or blown up, then given the right price, Sergeant
Funky is definitely your man.
Sneaky Pedro
Race: Fenixan
Rank: Sergeant
Affiliation: Electran Auxiliaries
While some might say that most Auxiliaries hardly look like
professional soldiers, it could almost certainly be agreed that
Sneaky Pedro doesn't look like any kind of soldier at all. A
swarthy, unshaven face, a tattered and dirty grey poncho and a
badly drooping sombrero: these are Pedro's physical hallmarks.
Pedro was an officer from the Electran forces stationed at the
village of Valmore, who were led by a man known only as 'the
Duke.' His exact purpose for coming to Ersha remained somewhat
questionable, and his biggest contribution to any discussion was
to suggest either flight or surrender at every opportunity.
Sir Karsh
Race: Spheran
Rank: Battle-Knight
Affiliation: Spheran Coalition, Tigerclaw Division
Despite his relative youth, there is no doubt that the Spheran
knight Sir Karsh bears a powerful presence. A thick mane of
black hair spills down his neck, and his face is painted with
black and white stripes of tiger-like war-paint. His gleaming
white breastplate leaves bare his powerfully muscled arms, and
red flames roar up the sides of his baggy white pants. By his
own words, Karsh is a member of the Spheran Tigerclaw division,
although with the Spheran organizational structure as of yet
unknown to our heroes, this means little. What's more relevant
is that he was in command of the Spheran contingent sent to seize
the settlement of Ersha in the East of the Velguara mountains. A
fierce warrior and a decisive leader, Karsh was not a man to be
underestimated either on the field or off.
Admiral Tubby
Race: Electran
Rank: Admiral
Affiliation: Republic Air Force (RAF)
The formidable Admiral Tubby has been given the crucial
responsibility of commanding all RAF operations in the embattled
Velguara region during the Republic's direst hour of need. True
to his name, Tubby is a rather smug-looking, short, balding man
who appears to be more than a bit pudgy around the waist himself.
He wears a navy blue RAF uniform decorated with dozens of medals
and the traditional silver wings of the Airforce. Tubby is known
as a brilliant strategist who prefers to err on the side of
caution in any situation. Because after all, you never want to
make the critical mistake of committing your forces too
soon.
Duke Nukem
Race: Fenixan
Rank: Platoon Lieutenant
Affiliation: Rogue Electran Auxiliaries
Hail to the King, baby. There ain't a more dangerous leader out
there than Duke Nukem. A well-muscled Fenixan, Nukem has a blond
brush-cut and is ominously dressed in black sunglasses and
leather. Most importantly of all, a gigantic autoblaster rests
in his arms at all times, although some sources might suggest
that he does not in fact know how to use it. Duke Nukem
was the leader of the Auxiliaries squadron stationed in Valmore,
but unexpectedly turned on his fellow Republic officers,
attempting to prevent them from reaching the village. While his
motives for doing so remain uncertain, there is one thing that
is: and that is Duke is there to kick ass and chew gum. And out
in the field, it's darn hard to find enough gum.
Rudy Giuliani
Race: Electran
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: Village of Valmore Office of the Mayor
As his affiliation implies, Rudy Giuliani was the mayor of the
tiny village of Valmore in the Electran Velguara mountains. A
middle-aged, balding man with glasses and a dark suit, Rudy would
likely describe himself as a dynamic leader, who had succesfully
led his people through trial and hardship. However, like most
mayors, it is speculated that despite these 'leadership
qualities,' he may in some kind of trouble of an
indeterminate nature.
Krog
Race: Terrorian
Rank: Captain
Affiliation: Electran Auxiliaries
Krog's character is so simplistic that I could practically sum it
up in one line. But I won't. Krog's major physical
characteristics consisted most prominently of his gigantic size,
rocky blueish-green skin, and overpowering vaporish green breath.
Despite this rather brutish appearance, Krog actually serves as
one of the highest-ranking Auxiliary officers, second only to
Commander Genghis Khan. For the most part, he appears to be a
man of few words, and when he does speak, it seems to almost
exclusively involve how he could rock the world of
whomever it is he happens to be talking to. But with huge
grasping arms the size of a normal man's torso, most would agree
that there's very little doubt that he could do just that.
Aldrocht
Race: Spheran
Rank: Armsmaster
Affiliation: Spheran Coalition, Dragon Division
Armsmaster Aldrocht admirably fits the image of an officer in the
Spheran military. A pale skinned man with a harsh, humorless
face, he wears a black combat helm with a set of tank-goggles
placed on top, a pair of black leather gloves and a black
military uniform with a silver dragon insignia on his left
breast. However, as our heroes would later discover, his
presence amongst the Spheran Tigerclaw division who held the town
of Istava was somewhat resented by these latter soldiers, because
of both his overbearing presence and military affiliation. It is
perhaps then not surprising that Aldrocht prefers to do battle
with steel machines than with simple foot-soldiers.
Deja-Vu
Race: Electran
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: Village of Istava
The first thing that anyone might think upon reading this
description is they might very well have read it before.
Or at least, that's what they would think if they were Deja-Vu.
Deja-Vu appeared to be a dark-haired Frenchman with an unkept
mustache, a floppy purple french beret, a grey vest and wool
pants and constantly mystified grey eyes. By far his most
prominent characteristic, aside from his obvious French accent,
was the fact that he claimed to have seen a great many things
before, even (or especially) when such was in fact not the case.
In combat, Deja-Vu hardly seemed to know what was going on, but
the fact that he had seen nearly any attack before made it all
but impossible for his foes to strike him.
The Soup Nazi
Race: German...?
Rank: Civilian and Hotel Owner
Affiliation: Village of Istava, Arc de Triomphe hotel
The man known only as the Soup Nazi was a strict-looking German
man with a brown mustache, a white chef's hat covering his shaved
head, and an apron decorated with a red swastika. As well as
being the owner of the Arc de Triomphe hotel, he had also
perfected his own top secret soup recipe, which was renowned for
miles around. The Soup Nazi was a man who liked order in all its
forms, and had very stringent rules about how his establishment
was run. However, despite this harsh exterior, it would be found
that he was not a man without his sympathies for the local
populace.
Chocolat Mousse
Race: Loracian
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: Village of Istava
Chocolat Mousse was a big black miner from the village of Istava,
and it wasn't hard to see how he got his name. His buzzed hair
was covered by a brown cap, and his grimy white shirt was covered
by a chocolate-brown vest and brown pants. Furthermore, Chocolat
Mousse could hardly ever be seen without what appeared to be a
chocolate cigar stuffed in his mouth, puffing out large
quantities of chocolatey brown smoke. Although Chocolat Mousse
proclaimed not to like 'trouble,' he later showed himself to be
more than capable of dealing with it with his chocolate cigar and
heavy street brawl action.
Ciboulette
Race: Chalchakian
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: Village of Istava, Arc de Triomphe Hotel
Ciboulette was a pretty, young and vaguely french lady working as
a barmaid at the Arc de Triomphe hotel in the village of Istava.
A bouncy mess of dark curls framed a friendly face, and she wore
a dark vest and long purple skirts overtop of her frilly white
shirt. Her kind-hearted cheer was certainly a most welcome
feature in the strict regime of the Soup Nazi's establishment.
However, like so many others in this adventure, she would later
be found to be much more than she appeared.
Seravian
Race: Spheran
Rank: Armshand
Affiliation: Spheran Coalition, Tigerclaw Division
Seravian was one of the ranking Spheran officers stationed in the
town of Istava during its occupation. A tall man with a charming
smile, he sported a long blond ponytail, the standard grey
Spheran army trenchcoat, and metal boots with spiked ridges at
the back. Despite his affable nature, the Armshand could rarely
be seen without his steel spear strapped across his back.
Seravian was something of an oddity for a Spheran soldier; not
only was his command of the Electran language near-flawless, but
he seemed to fancy himself a 'man of the people,' even in
occupied cities. Although this trait did serve to make him more
popular with some of the locals, it did little to endear him to
his fellow Spheran officers.
Passe-Partout
Race: Chalchakian
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: The Resistance...?
Greasy black hair, a grimy white shirt, a tattered black
trench-coat and three-day stubble, these were the distinguishing
features of Passe-Partout. This rather suspicious individual
could usually be found in a corner of the Arc de Triomphe hotel,
shifty eyes always on the look-out and watching everything.
Passe-Partout seemed most adept at making cryptic references
about his true affiliations in Istava's state of affairs, and
there was in fact very little that could be taken for granted
with the weaselly-faced man. In combat, although Passe-Partout
could throw a mean hook punch, his greatest ability was his knack
for convincing his opponent that he was in fact on their side...
Mafia-Boy
Race: Tortalian
Rank: Hacker
Affiliation: On-hire with the Spheran Coalition
Judging from his appearance, the hacker under the alias of
Mafia-Boy rarely saw the light of day. A large set of glasses
framed his pale, pimply face, and he wore a pair of sloppy blue
jeans, dilapidated sneakers, and a black t-shirt with the word
'Hax0r' written across the front. By his own words, Mafia-Boy
was a 'legendary' computer hacker who had created a large number
of worms and viruses, though the effectiveness of these
programs remains somewhat questionable. He had been hired by the
Spherans as a computers expert, but he seemed to have little
respect for them, or indeed anyone who lacked his own l337
haxx0ring skills. And as if this wasn't bad enough, he was also
an addict of the abhorrent Pepsi Cola. However, anyone who took
issue with any of these characteristics would find themselves up
against his irritating cyber-talk and paralyzing Virus Attacks,
which were surely more than a match for any n00b who would dare
challenge him.
Caszara
Race: Spheran
Rank: Armshand
Affiliation: Spheran Coalition, Tigerclaw Division
It wouldn't take a military expert like either of our two heroes
to guess at Caszara's affiliation. If the flaming red hair and
fierce, cat-like green eyes weren't enough, she also wears a pair
of grey military fatigues and a short black jacket with silver
fur at the neck and wrists and a vivid tiger's face etched
proudly onto the back. Some might even describe Caszara as a
fanatic, and her strict attitude would seem to support this
description. Like Seravian, Caszara was one of the ranking
officers stationed in the village of Istava, but unlike her
colleague, she had little use for irresponsible carousing with
the locals. However, despite her fierce loyalty to the Spheran
Tigerclaws, she could hardly be said to bear a similar love for
the other members of the Spheran Coalition.
Tinoir
Race: Electran
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: None
Tinoir was a short, scrawny weasel of a young man making his
living in the seedy back alleys in the mining village of Istava.
His physical hallmarks were, perhaps by design, rather
unremarkable: a dark complexion, greasy black hair and a
ratched-up black overcoat. He seemed to make his trade, such as
it was, in the sale of that most valuable commodity of
information, and could potentially answer a great many questions,
given that the right price was involved.
The Junkyard Dog
Race: Loracian
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: Passe-Partout's miscreant gang
None of these three figures were even real, official characters,
but it was easier to introduce them all at once. The Junkyard
Dog was a rowdy, heavily muscled black man, with buzzed black
hair, red wrestling shorts, and a 'ghetto' chain around his neck.
Not surprisingly, the JYD made his turf in the Istava junkyard,
and could really dish out the pain with his 'ghetto' street brawl
skills.
David Carridean
Race: Electran
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: Passe-Partout's miscreant gang
David Carridean was an ominous, blade-slender man with short,
wispy brown hair and a serious face. He also wore a wide-brimmed
black hat, black Western-style trench-coat and cowboy boots. By
far his biggest (and only) characteristic was that he knew
Kung Fu. This fact alone was more than enough to impress
a great number of characters.
Will Smith
Race: Loracian
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: Passe-Partout's miscreant gang
Will Smith was yet another black man, but he wasn't nearly as
ghetto as the Junkyard Dog. Instead, he sported a small,
well-kept mustache, a black cowboy hat and vest, and a shiny fake
sheriff's badge. Smith's "Wild, wild West" combat style seemed
to involve only sniping from a great distance with his PK-33
handgun. Which was understandable, given how fast he went down
if he ever suffered a blow.
Tarzan
Race: Electran
Rank: Leader of La Resistance
Affiliation: Village of Istava, La Resistance
Contrary to what one might be inclined to believe given the roots
of this adventure, the leader of la Resistance was not in fact za
Torche, but rather Tarzan. Tarzan was a dynamic and dramatic
young man, with wild black hair, a black leather jacket, white
muscle shirt, and a length of rope which he would apparently use
to swing through windows at any opportunity. He also seemed to
consider himself quite the lady's man, although due to his
obvious lower-class background, certain ladies might be inclined
to disagree with this assessment.
Latrine!
Race: Electran
Rank: Intelligence Operative
Affiliation: Village of Istava, La Resistance
By far Latrine's most dominant characteristic is that no matter
the circumstances, he always appears to be horribly wounded by an
explosion of some sort or another. Due to this fact, it's hard
to tell much else about him: he has a frazzled dark mustache,
soot-covered skin, numerous burns and scrapes, and some badly
singed tattered outfit usually with half a sleeve or so missing.
Also, no matter the location, his entrance would always be
preceded by a massive set of explosions that apparently were
dangerous to nobody but him. Despite his constant condition, or
perhaps because of it, Latrine was a crucial man to the la
Resistance's operations, and could always be counted on to arrive
in the nick of time with critical information to the situation at
hand.
Suki
Race: Japanese
Rank: None...?
Affiliation: Republic Special Forces
The unranked 'officer' known as Suki could be described as a
slim, oriental man with short black hair. His rather dubious
choice of clothing consisted of a one-piece silvery-beige
jumpsuit, with the Japanese flag sewn onto the shoulder. Suki
was apparently stationed with the Special Forces at the Electran
Front Base, and was one of the priviledged few to get to ride the
amazing new Delta Mark IV motorcycles. When not busy
attending to his duties and his rigorous "training," Suki could
usually be found playing with his Rubix cube, seemingly unable to
solve it and claiming it to be impossible. He was also
characterized by riding around in circles on his bike
"cowboy-style," and for making comments that seemed to make no
sense whatsoever.
Anton
Race: French
Rank: None...?
Affiliation: Republic Special Forces
Like his near-constant companion, Suki, Anton was also a
highly-trained member of the Republic Special Forces, in spite of
his apparent lack of rank. And also like Suki, he wore the same
ridiculous silver jumpsuit, but the flag on his shoulder was
French rather than Japanese. The extent of Anton's character
could essentially be summed up in a single word: girls. To
Anton, this was the only thing in the world worth caring about,
and he would express this opinion at every opportunity,
especially when asked to help solve a Rubix cube.
Van Gogh
Race: French
Rank: Surveyor
Affiliation: Republic Air Force
The man known as Van Gogh was supposedly a terrain surveyor for
the RAF, but didn't seem to spend a lot of time performing that
task. Van Gogh had a dark artist's goatee and was clad in a
assymmetrical french beret, and a flashy shirt covered with
impressionistic objects such as clocks, boats and of course,
chairs. Van Gogh was also armed with a camera, and wasn't afraid
to use it to capture on film anything he deemed worthy of french
impressionistic art. The 'impressionistic' part would be
achieved by holding his camera at a funny angle while taking the
picture. Exactly what use the Airforce could get out of these
photos was highly questionable.
The Jute
Race: Jute
Rank: Jute
Affiliation: Jutes
The first thing one would notice about the man known only as the
Jute was that he gave the distinct impression of being a
trained warrior. This feat was made even more impressive
by the fact that his only weapon appeared to be a wooden canoe
paddle. Nevertheless, the Jute was a big, burly man, with wild,
unkempt barbaric brown hair, a scruffy visage, and a powerful
hairy chest. He wore a tough green
leather jerkin belted at the waist and crude leather breeches.
Despite his presence in the Republic Front Base, he didn't seem
to be part of the military, and in fact openly admitted to
plotting to overthrow their 'king.' His other main goal was to
earn the 'votes' of all those in the camp and thus gain the
prestigious position of Bretwalda. How exactly this would
benefit the Jute remained unclear.
Lord Brindon
Race: Electran
Rank: Major
Affiliation: Republic Special Forces
A character of Lord Brindon's fame and caliber should hardly even
need a write-up, so much so that this author almost forgot to
include it. Brindon was a true, blue-blood officer of the
Special Forces, and he looked the part. Short black hair was
complemented by a trim, pointed goatee. He wore a shirt with a
blue breast and ridiculously puffy blue-and-red striped sleaves.
Black pants, brown suede shoes, and a red cloak with a feather
clasping it at the shoulder completed his lordly outfit. Brindon
was known to have served in the Conventionals in an exemplary
fashion, and was transferred to the Special Forces to spread his
good, old fashioned values to the fledgling troops. Brindon's
main characteristic is his focus on the importance of noble,
Electran blood, and an unstoppable tendency to label those that
did not as 'colonials.' This trait, of course, would go over
very well with certain members of the Player Character team.
Hermione Granger
Race: Tortalian
Rank: Platoon Sergeant
Affiliation: Republic Reserves/Soon-to-be Republic Auxiliaries
Hermione Granger was a rather bookish-looking young woman, who
really didn't quite look at home amongst the ranks of the
military. She had long, puffy brown hair, and wore a long black
robe emblazoned with a red-and-yellow shield overtop of a grey
sweater and skirt. Hermione proclaimed to be a student from
Hogwarts School of the Psychic Arts, the Republic's most
respected educational institute in that area, and was currently
with the military as part of a student internship program. Given
her prestigious educational background, she had rather limited
respect for most of the 'muggle' soldiers around her, least of
all the grubby Auxiliaries. Still, despite this rather
condescending attitude, her psychic aptitude could surely only be
a benefit to any unit in which she served.
Lieutenant Surge
Race: Electran (of course)
Rank: Lieutenant
Affiliation: Republic Reserves
Known as the 'Lightning American,' Lt. Surge was all about
action, and he had the physique to back it up. He sported
short, staticky blond hair that stood straight up, electric-blue
eyes, green army fatigues and a camouflage shirt with a lightning
bolt across the breast. On his lightning-fast feet, the
lieutenant wore a pair of bright yellow combat boots. Other than
his self-proclaimed 'lightning' speed, Surge's main
characteristic was his incredible patriotism, although whether
this devotion was to the Republic or to this mysterious 'America'
place was quite unknown.
Xelme
Race: Electran
Rank: Major
Affiliation: Republic Special Forces
Special Forces Major Xelme had a reputation for toughness, and
her appearance did not disapoint. A stern, humorless face was
topped by a short, blond buzz cut, and her muscled shoulders were
as broad as any man's. A crimson, many-pocketed vest was worn
overtop of a black sleeveless top, and a pair of black-and-grey
camo fatigues and black army boots completed the picture. Xelme
was, above all else, a soldier's soldier, and believed in keeping
her troops in top condition to a near-fanatic degree. She is
also rumored to be Commander Kilant's most trusted subordinate
and his right hand, although these rumors have yet to be
confirmed by first-hand evidence.
Kilant
Race: Electran
Rank: Supreme Commander of the Republic Special Forces
Affiliation: Republic Special Forces
As leader of Electra's elite military corps, Commander Kilant was
a man who immediately made a strong impression. Golden-blond
hair fell just to his shoulders, framing a face brimming with
confidence and determination. Those shoulders themselves were
protected by scarlet, sloping shoulder guards that formed the top
of an elaborate armored cuirass. Glistening white bracers
guarded his wrists, and his pair of baggy military pants tucked
into his high black boots was no less white. A crimson cloak
worn Roman-style was clasped across his back, and his blade was
never far from hand. Kilant was famous throughout the Republic
for having rebuilt the Special Forces from the ground up
following their decimation during the Electran civil war known as
the Straasveck rebellion. Though his methods in doing so have
met with both praise and condemnation, there is one thing that is
certain, and that is that his name is one that would later echo
in the annals of history forever.
The Egg
Race: Tortalian
Rank: Scientist
Affiliation: Republic Research and Development
One might be rather inclined to refer to the Egg as an 'egghead,'
perhaps even declaring him 'weird' but darn smart. And
regardless of the intelligence of the person making such
comments, the Egg certainly looked the part of the nerdy
scientist. A short, hunch-backed, white-haired man, he wore a
white lab-coat, gigantic glasses and a partially undone
tie. As a scientist for the military's Research and Development
department, the Egg was the inventor of the amazing Delta Mark IV
motorcycles, and had allegedly been clucking like a mother hen
over the vehicles after since he hatched them on his slide rule.
Other than that, his main characteristic was his uncontrollable
urge to loosen his tie in the presence of any female character.
Because apparently, you didn't see very many of them in the lab
where he worked. Unless, of course, you were an armadillo.
Dr. No
Race: Tortalian
Rank: Scientist
Affiliation: Republic Research and Development
Much as one might 'crack' jokes about the Egg, one would be
rather reluctant to do the same about Dr. No. That's because No
had a decidedly sinister appearance. Appearing vaguely asian
with neat black hair, he too wore a a long white coat, but his
was tight and high-collared around the neck. More disturbing,
though, were the leathery black gloves that covered his hideously
deformed, mechanical hands. Indeed, Dr. No had all the trappings
of a mad scientist, and was known for constantly cackling
about the experiments he was planning to perform with military
funds. In fact, he was even rumored to possess a secret
island fortress, although this would late be found to be
not quite so secret.
Jaws
Race: Deksiilan
Rank: Research Assistant
Affiliation: Dr. No
The goonish thug known as Jaws was a fearsome sight to behold.
Towering six-foot-five, he had messy black hair, a white dress
shirt and grey slacks that were supported by huge, black
suspenders. But by far his most disturbing feature was the set
of metal jaws that were set into his mouth. This steel
contraption allowed him to bite through practically anything, and
he would frequently make use of his ability, both in combat and
without. On the other hand, Jaws seemed to have limited real
personality or willpower, instead simply serving the bidding of
his evil master, Dr. No. Additionally, Jaws' iron chest made him
especially resistant against any sort of beating, which he would
surely often take in defense of Dr. No.
Mahmood
Race: Indian...?
Rank: Captain
Affiliation: Electran Acquisitions Division
Mahmood is the new chief Supply Officer at the Republic Front Base, having been promoted to fill the shoes of Glenn Beck, who was recently arrested on drug trafficking charges. Compared to his predecessor, Mahmood seems infinitely more pleasant to deal with, but that statement really doesn't say much. He carries a calculus textbook under his arm at all times, and has often been known to exclaim that 'partial supplies' are all that anyone will be getting. What's more, he claims that his own supply tent is haunted, possibly by the ghosts of former supply officers. If this is true, then the surliness of these ghosts is indeed something to be feared.
Rodric
Yuri
Race: Spheran
Rank: Captain
Affiliation: Electran Auxiliaries
Auxiliaries soldiers are generally either dissheveled, rowdy and drunken, or dissheveled, grizzled and dangerous. Captain Rodric most likely falls in the latter of these two categories. His hair is coarse, shaggy and uncut, as are his ragged sideburns. Golden eyes flash ferally when in the dark, and he wears a rugged, wolfskin cloak over his shoulders. Rodric is an Auxiliaries Captain out on mountaineering duty when our heroes first encountered him, near the embattled city of Stratholme. Both he and his veteran unit, 'the Horde,' come across as hard men not to be taken lightly.
Race: Ukrainian
Rank: Lieutenant
Affiliation: Electran Auxiliaries
Yuri would no doubt be outraged at having his description put up on something as trivial as a web page. Because the web is almost like a game, and his description is not game!! Yuri was a big, Ukrainian giant of a man, and Rodric's second-in-command at his mountain camp. His only real characteristic is his patriotic love for his homeland, which to him, was certainly no game at all.
Pandaro
Race: Spheran
Rank: Battle-Knight
Affiliation: Spheran Coalition, House of Ursus
Pandaro is perhaps not quite what one would expect for a knight of the Spheran Coalition. Dressed in a black and white kung fu jacket with a triangular chinese hat, his most noteworthy accessory is the large wooden barrel of ale he carries under one arm. Of course, it turns out that as well as being great for morale, this beverage is highly flammable, thus making a formidable weapon against the enemies of the House of Ursus. One may rest assured that wherever Pandaro goes, PANDAMONIUM is sure to follow.
Grizzlor
Race: Spheran
Rank: Battle-Knight
Affiliation: Spheran Coalition, House of Ursus
Raaarrghhh! The mighty GRIZZLOR's intelligence was about on the same level as his personality - that is to say, both were next to non-existant. An enormous bear of a man clad in shaggy bear skins and wearing bear-claws on his hands, Grizzlor was always more than eager to maul anything or anyone that got in his way. Like a wild beast, Grizzlor seemed brutish, predictable and easily angered, as his battlefield tactics showed all too well.
Rommel, the Desert Fox
Race: Electran
Rank: Major
Affiliation: Electran Conventionals
As befits a Conventionals officer, Major Rommel wore all blue and a huge General's hat, but that's where the appropriateness stopped. His 'uniform', such as it was, seemed to consist of a blue mechanic's jumpsuit, open way too much at the front, and more importantly, the ridiculous 'sidehack' motorcycle that he was always riding. This so-called sidehack was little more than a normal motorcycle with an oversized sidecar, which supposedly requires 'teamwork' to use. Rommel's other main characteristic was his tendency to laugh annoyingly in people's faces while denying requests, a quality that surely would not endear him to any brotherly figures.
Hilda
Race: Electran
Rank: Lieutenant
Affiliation: Electran Acquisitions
Lieutenant Hilda is allegedly both Rommel's second-in-command and his fiance. A rather generic woman in a bright white uniform, her only distinguishing feature was her incredibly fake-looking blonde hair. Her personality was no less vacuous and no more interesting. In fact, it seemed unlikely that her appearance in the campaign would last much longer than the popularity of her hairstyle.
JC
Race: Deksiilan
Rank: Captain
Affiliation: Electran Auxiliaries (?)
JC was the rather eccentric leader of a mysterious, unauthorized Auxiliaries troop at large in the Stratholme region. He was 'impressively' decked out in a silver polyester jacket with his own initials on the back, a big pair of sunglasses, and a cheesy gold medallion. He was also quite the motorcycle enthusiast, and may potentially have raced professionally in the past. For now, though, his major motive seems simply to "get Rommel," through any means necessary. Even if that means stooping to such measures as unexpectedly punching his own men in the face.
Gooch (Cooch?)
Race: Deksiilan
Rank: Sergeant
Affiliation: Electran Auxiliaries (?)
There isn't too much to say about Gooch, other than that I will write his description. In fact, I will write it. I will write right now. I have to make it look good. And I will. I will make it look good. I will even say that Gooch was allegedly JC's most trusted officer, despite of his inability to pronounce his name. I will also say that Gooch was dispatched with Zeke to bring Rommel back to JC. I will not say, however, what the outcome of this arc of events will be.
Phil
Race: Electran
Rank: Lieutenant
Affiliation: Electran Special Forces
Your first impression upon reading Phil's description might well be that you do not recognize it. That's exactly what our heroes thought of Phil, the first time they saw him. A balding man with a black felt overcoat and dark beard, our heroes refused to vouch for his entrance into Front Base. It turned out, however, that Phil's tent was in fact right beside their own. This faux-pas on their part has lead to no shortage of animosity between Phil and our heroes.
Fredo
Race: Parrot
Rank: Sergeant??
Affiliation: Electran Special Forces
Fredo was a green parrot belonging to Special Forces Lt. Phil, whose only main characteristics were his weakness and his stupidity. He died from swallowing a key hidden in his bird-food, and was later exhumed by Dust in an attempt to obtain said key. Although now long dead, his legacy continues to haunt our heroes in a variety of ways.
Senor Alejandro
Race: Fenixan
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: ???
At first glance, Senor Alejandro would appear to many to be nothing more than a wealthy, carefree dilettante and playboy. He was a dashing, Mexican-looking man with slick black hair, a white tuxedo and a ubiquitous can of El Coca-cola the Spanish version of a particularly famous beverage. Alejandro claimed to be the son of a wealthy Senator, visiting the base with the other politicians, but in fact he would be found to be much more. In his other, deadlier incarnation as El Ninja Mexicano, he wore an impractical white ninja-suit with the El Coca-cola logo on the back. In the end, however, even his impressive ability to crush a can of El Coke proved no match for our heroes' kung-fu.
Smithie
Race: Electran
Rank: Captain(?)
Affiliation: Unknown
Meeting the so-called Mr. Smith - or 'Captain' Smith as he prefers to be called - for the first time, one might be inclined to declare him the worst pirate they've ever seen. He wears a long dark seaman's overcoat, a red sash and bandana, and his stark-white hair spills out from beneath his black three-cornered hat in several long, tangled braids, and his white beard is similarly braided. Encountered for the first time as a maroon deep in the Velguara mountains, Smithie remains a man of dubious allegiance and background about whom much is speculated and little is certain.
Lady Sylgris
Race: Spheran
Rank: Warlady
Affiliation: The Spheran Coalition - House of the Dragon
The Warlady Sylgris is every bit as formidable as one would expect for the consort of a man as fearsome as the Dragon of Sphere. A sharp, cruel face is framed by near-metallic silver hair that flows almost to the floor behind her in a thick braided tail. A golden circlet with dragon wings rests on her crown, and she is draped in a shimmering silver cloak and long white robes, beneath which, brilliant chain mail gleams and jangles. First encountered in Fort Romulus where officially Kronos of Ursus was in charge, Sylgris seemed present to oversee the defenses and the interests of her own House.
Lord Kronos, Master of Time
Race: Spheran
Rank: Warlord
Affiliation: The Spheran Coalition - House of Ursus
As Warlord of the furry Spheran House of Ursus, the mighty Lord Kronos was a combination of nearly every bear stereotype imaginable. He was a giant of a man, with smoky grey eyes and a huge, bushy black beard streaked with grey. His red tabard bore the mark of a giant black bear claw, the symbol of his house. Kronos' most defining characteristics were his voracious love of Sugar Crisp cereal, and his complete inability to tell time, in spite of the many time-keeping devices that were always in his presence. He was the commander of the Spheran forces at Fort Romulus, although by all accounts he spent the majority of his time in sleepy hibernation.
Lady Tallyn
Race: Spheran
Rank: Warlady
Affiliation: The Spheran Coalition - House of Stormwind
As leader of the Spheran House of Stormwind, Lady Tallyn's mere appearance all but commanded respect and reverence. Royal blue feathers added a splash of color woven into her long, shimmering white hair, and above her feathered Warlord's mask, her blue eyes shine like pools of infinite depth and purity. A golden halo rested atop her forehead, and when she walked, her feathered sandals seemed not to touch the ground. By all accounts, she is revered by her troops and respected by her enemies, a noble-lady who veritably deserves such a moniker.
Keldon
Race: Spheran
Rank: Warlord
Affiliation: The Spheran Coalition - House of the Tiger
The last of the four Spheran Warlords leading the assault against the Republic, Lord Keldon was as fierce a warrior as the totem of his House would suggest. His bare, muscled chest was painted with black and white tiger warpaint, and he wore a swirling red fur cloak, in addition to an ominous horned mask over his face. It is also suspected that the Keldon Lord's power may grow with the number of forces under his command, although where this rumor is true remains to be seen.
Tanzer & Lohengris
Race: Spheran
Rank: Dragonsworn
Affiliation: The Spheran Coalition - House of the Dragon
The dread Drakkhaan riders have long been a dark plague from the sky for the forces of Republic. First at Stratholme, sweeping the city's terrified defenders from atop the walls, and then at Romulus tearing into the Republic's rear lines, the riders have struck viciously and fearlessly. But now, at last, they are given names and faces: Tanzer and Lohengris, called the Dragonsworn, and fanatical bodyguards to Lord Vygrymm himself. Both were every bit as fearsome as the creatures they rode - the mighty Tanzer in shimmering blue cape and armor had the powerful strength of a Blue Dragon, while his green-clad sister, Lohengris, moved with the deadly speed of a Green Dragon. Though the two were sent tumbling to their deaths over the fateful skies of Velguara, their legacy for our heroes is far from over...
Chancellor Lorum
Race: Electran
Rank: Senator and Chancellor
Affiliation: Republic of Electra Senate
The elderly, watery-eyed Lorum is a member of the Electran Senate, and voted by his peers as Republic Chancellor, the highest office in the Electran government. However, his health and constitution are notoriously poor, and it's rare that he is able to make public appearances, let alone leave the capital of his nation. It's rumored that is this docile and fragile nature that earned him his office, in the uncertainty and fear following the Strasveck Rebellion.
Lubosh
Race: Arsan
Rank: Tennis Instructor
Affiliation: The House of Atobe
Listen up, you big babies! You only wish you were half as much a man as Lubosh! Or so you would most likely be told were you ever to encounter said-Lubosh. A tall, fit-looking man with a black pony-tail, a blue windbreaker and an indeterminate Slavic accent, Lubosh was hired by Atobe Keigo's mother as the latter's personal tennis instructor. It's also suspected that he is the source of a rather prolific progeny, but after all, what else do you expect when you're married like he is?
Bremingham
Race: Electran
Rank: Senator
Affiliation: Republic of Electra Senate
Bremingham is a stalwart member of the "old guard" of the Electran Senate, and a blue-blooded aristocrat to the core. As an older, somewhat portly man, he has walrus mustaches and wears a uniform covered with military medals. In fact, Bremingham claims a good deal of military service to his name, and also serves as the Senate-Military liaison. He is also none other than the father of Special Forces officer Lt. Jenissa, and is known for his tendency to spoil his only little girl to bits and pieces.
Jean-Paul Jean-Paul
Race: Electran/Jamaican??
Rank: Military Athletic Scholar
Affiliation: Republic Military
The man known as Jean-Paul Jean-Paul was quite the friendly bastard and one of Electra's champion marathon runners. In fact, he had been a major contender in the Interplanetary Olympics 2 years ago, before he inadvertently slept in and missed his race, an event that haunts him to this day. Regardless, this time Jean-Paul was back on athletic scholarship from the military to set things right, hoping that the events of the past would not repeat themselves.
Arch Hall Sr.
Race: Electran
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: Arch Hall Sr. Productions
Although it would be all but impossible to be as ugly as his progeny, Arch Hall Sr. comes rather close. A hideous man with wishy grey hair, suspenders, white gloves, and a vest with the word 'director' on the back, Arch Hall was a powerful Electran businessman and movie producer, and his massive media company had been given the contract of managing the National Games. It really came as no surprise to anyone that the only reason the despicable Arch Hall Jr. managed to get any gigs at all for his "swingin' combo" was from his wealthy father's powerful and nepotistic influence.
Gus Gustopherson
Race: Electran
Rank: Detective
Affiliation: City of Electra Police Department
Gus Gustopherson was a stalwart police officer of the city of Electra, whose main characteristic was his urge to dramaticize any situation in which he found himself with his own badly-hummed theme music. He could also never be caught without one of his characteristic egg-salad sandwiches in mouth or in hand, and he always seemed to have more than enough to share. Gus was a long-time friend of Jag's subordinate officer, McMason, and was in charge of security at the National Games - although his competency in such a regard would soon be called into question.
Anna Kournikova
Race: Electran
Rank: Civilian and Tennis Champion
Affiliation: Herself
Hailed as Electra's finest female athlete, in all honesty Anna Kournikova looked more like a swimsuit model. Dressed all in white with a ridiculously short pair of mini-shorts and a tennis shirt that left bare her well-toned midriff, even certain Spherans had been known to admit that the blonde Kournikova was "hot for an Electran." She came to Electra city in anticipation of dominating the Tennis tournament at the Electran National Games, but was soon to find that competition was much stiffer than she'd been expecting.
Gerri Poveri
Race: Electran
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: The free press of Electra
Gerri Poveri was a poofy red-haired news reporter with a simple goal: bringing in the scoop for her show, "In Your Face with Gerri Poveri." For Gerri, controversy was the order of the day, and when none was available, she wasn't above stirring it up herself with inflammatory comments and hard-hitting questions.
Atobe Kunimitsu
Race: Electran
Rank: Civilian Aristocracy
Affiliation: The House of Atobe
The similarity in name is no coincidence: Atobe Kunimitsu is the mother of Lt. Atobe Keigo. Kunimitsu is a regal-looking woman, still quite handsome despite her age, with black hair held back with chop-sticks and a black and silver kimono with a fiery design emblazoned upon it. Haughty, elitist and demanding in the extreme, it is clear that Mrs. Atobe holds her household and the nobility well above the level of mere commoners and has exacting expectations of her only daughter.
Jackie Chiles
Race: Electran
Rank: Civilian Laywer
Affiliation: The Republic Senate/Oh Henry Corporation
If there's one thing that can be said about Jackie Chiles' description, it is that it's marvelous, distiniguished, outstanding. Much like Jackie Chiles himself. A tall, lean, black man with a thick mustache, huge glasses, and a constantly outraged facial expression, Chiles is known as one of the Republic's fastest-talking lawyers. He's also known for making any case in which he's invovled into a veritable media circus. Furthermore, it seems that Jackie is also sponsored by the powerful Oh Henry candy-bar corporation, and he can almost never be seen without one of these characteristic snacks in hand.
Vonderveck
Race: Electran
Rank: Grand-Marshall
Affiliation: Republic of Electra Conventionals
The rotund Vonderveck is the Grand-Marshall and supreme commander of the entire Conventionals division of the Republic military. A short, squat man, he has enormous walrus mustaches, a bevy of war medals on his royal blue uniform, and is usually seen with a plate of shrimp in hand, which are quickly making their way from said plate to his mouth. It's been said that although he leads the largest corps. of the Republic's military, Vonderveck is more of a politician than a general, and rarely leaves the capital himself.
Todd Bertuzzi
Race: ??
Rank: Hockey Player
Affiliation: Genghis Khan
Mr. Todd Bertuzzi was a special man sent by the Khan to ensure his team's victory at the National Games Hockey Finals. His main tactic in doing so was to deliver a cheap shot to an opponent from behind, resulting in serious spinal injury and taking them out of the game. As some commentators would put it, 'good clean hits' were the name of the game where Mr. Bertuzzi was concerned.
Mysterio
Race: Tortalian
Rank: Master Criminal
Affiliation: ??
Having murdered the real Gus Gustopherson in his escape, the evil Mysterio was the mastermind behind the skulduggery at the National Games. As a master of illusion, he could manipulate his appearance to achieve such duplicit goals. He did, however, have the questionable fashion accessory of wearing a fishbowl over his head.
Brontus
Race: Spheran
Rank: Armsmaster
Affiliation: The Spheran Coalition, House of Stormwind
Brontus is an officer in the House of Stormwind, who led the defense of the captured Electran city of Ellivia. An imposing, burly man, Brontus wore a black cape and a single black glove on his left hand. As a demolitions expert, the thunderous roar of explosives could usually be heard whenever Brontus and his Lords of Thunder swooped into battle.
Vultura
Race: Spheran
Rank: Armsmistress
Affiliation: The Spheran Coalition, House of Stormwind
Another office of the House of Stormwind, Vultura fought in futility to hold off the all-powerful M1A1 Abrams tanks of General Motors in the defense of Ellivia. An expert sniper, she leads a squadron of crack marksmen that are sure to make any opponent mere feed for the vultures.
Gracchus
Race: Electran
Rank: Senator
Affiliation: Republic of Electra Senate
A rather sour-faced older man in white Senatorial robes and a white beard, Senator Gracchus was one of the witnesses at the historic Trial of Kilant. His main characteristic seemed to be the many books he'd written on political theory, and his steadfast belief that any government must be ruled 'by the people, for the people.' Jag attempted to discredit him by attacking his qualifications based on the relatively low sales of his books.
Daria
Race: Denchuli
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: University of Electra
A young, freckled, diminutive Denchuli girl, Daria is the sister of our hero Lt. Dust. She's said to have inherited the book-smarts of the family, and attends the University of Electra on scholarship. Her protective brother is quite eager to keep her away from the unsavory influences of his fellow military crew.
Farrah Fawcett
Race: Electran
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: None
The famous Farrah Fawcett is a tall, gorgeous blonde and an internationally acclaimed actress and super-model. Apparently, she's also pursuing a drama degree from the University of Electra and is incongruously friends with unassuming Daria. She is also a big fan of the childrens' entertainer Smarmy the Dinosaur, and is liable to give one of her coveted kisses to anyone wearing such an outfit.
Rivagris
Race: Spheran
Rank: Dragonsworn
Affiliation: The Spheran Coalition, House of the Dragon
A fearsome, broad-shouldered woman with fire-bronzed skin, blood-red hair and armor and a flaming sword, Rivagris is dubbed 'the Hellknight' by the fearful and 'Beach Babe' by the foolish. Although her exact identity remains unknown beyond her name, she seems to bear a burning hatred for our young officers of the Republic...
Ridley
Race: Electran
Rank: Senator
Affiliation: Republic of Electra Senate
The blond, well-dressed Ridley is one of the newer and younger Senators of the Electran Senate. He is also known to be a man of who favors those with 'big ideas,' and what he calls 'progress' of all sorts. Calm and calculating, he agreed to testify in favor of Kilant at the latter's historic trial.
Camilla
Race: Electran
Rank: Senator
Affiliation: Republic of Electra Senate
Another of the younger generation of Senators, Camilla wears the latest labels in designer clothing and really would look more at home in the mall than in the marble halls of the Senate. She abhors most of the stodgy old-timers in this government body, accusing them of all talk and no action. She too testified in favor of Kilant at Jag's request during the trial.
Dr. Wily
Race: ??
Rank: Mad Scientist
Affiliation: Himself
Dressed in a white lab-coat with white hair, a mustache and gigantic killer white eyebrows, Dr. Wily is the classic image of a mad scientist. His evil knows no bounds.
Genghis Khan
Race: Lorician
Rank: Auxiliaries Supreme Commander
Affiliation: Republic Military, Auxiliaries Division (??)
Perhaps the most feared man in all the Republic military is none other than Supreme Commander Genghis Khan. A bearded, oriental man in splendid gilded robes, he is said to be a true barbarian whose military tactics are swift, vicious and sudden. However, while the loyalty he commands from his men is unquestionable, his own loyalty to the Electran Republic is not...
Momo
Race: Chalchakian
Rank: Sergeant
Affiliation: Republic Military, Auxiliaries Division
Momo is a short, incompetent-looking man in a black leather jacket, who has a strange knack for acquiring all sorts of heavy weapons. He is apparently an old crime-busting buddy of Jean Reno's and now serves under the bitter frenchman in his Foreign Legion.
Colonel Mustard
Race: Electran
Rank: Colonel
Affiliation: Republic Military, Conventionals
Colonel Mustard is an older gentleman with a monocle, a mustard-yellow uniform and a whole slew of suspected murder weapons. Dijon, who serves in Dust's Boyo Scouts.
Dorn
Race: Dortalian
Rank: Man
Affiliation: Red Bear Village
The only thing you really need to know about Dorn is that he's a MAN. A man destined to have certain high profile descendants all of the same name. A huge adventuring barbarian from Dortal, he fights with a pair of giant axes that can double-swing down anything in the path between him and a woman.
Richan
Race: Tortalian
Rank: Lieutenant
Affiliation: Republic Military, Conventionals Division
Short, quiet and slender like most of his race, Richan was a lieutenant in the Republic Conventionals. He was also an ace sniper, and the chief rival of Lt. Dust's during the latter's bout in sniper school. He had previously lost out on the Top Marksmen medal to Dust and was gunning for revenge. Dust, for his part, was more than happy to give him the chance, and prove once again just who the best sniper in these parts was.
Lamika Lee
Race: Electran
Rank: Senator
Affiliation: Republic of Electra Senate
Lamika was a young aristocrat with long braided green hair, a black cloak, and a sharp and icy complexion. She fled to the city of Crescentia, but was captured by Jag and our heroes
Rei Gansei
Race: Chalchakian
Rank: Bodyguard
Affiliation: The House of Lee
A bizarre, grey-haired man with a bladed boomerang, Rei Gansei was the hired bodyguard of the Senator Lamika. In combat, he could be a formidable force so long as he figured out how to light his own stupid mystic candle.

Eric the Clown
Race: Electran
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: None
Eric the Clown was a local Electran entertainer who was a bit down on his luck - the evil Clown Man had been shutting down clown shows all over the city with his bomb-threats. In spite of this, he still showed more bravery than certain members of the Republic Military, putting out the fuse of one such bomb with his big shoe. He had also never heard of any clown named 'Bozo,' which some might argue makes him hardly a clown at all.
The Flying Sandos Brothers
Race: Fenixan
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: The Spheran Coalition
The Flying Sandos brothers were allegedly travelling gypsies and entertainers who were putting on a show in the embattled city of Electra. However, it turns out they were employed by the Spheran army to smuggle their troops into the city for an attempted abduction of the city's Senators. In battle, the Brothers could form a massive human period, and with a cry of the magic word Agrabah could take weapons and hurl them away, causing them to disappear. Agrabah!
Lt. Horwitz
Race: Electran
Rank: Lieutenant
Affiliation: Republic Military, Conventionals Division
Lt. Horwitz was an officer fighting under Gol Draam's Conventionals division with one major characteristic, that being his propensity for checking his e-mail on his ubiquitous lap-top under all situations. He was also the leader of the ANZAC diggers, a heavy infantry unit wielding fearsome heavy machineguns that would unleash significant pain on anyone who interrupted his e-mail reading.
Raphael
Race: Electran
Rank: Captain
Affiliation: Republic Military, Special Forces Division
A tall, slender blond man dressed in dark clothing, Raphael was both a master fencer and a Captain in the Special Forces. Refined and civilized as his combat training would indicate, he spoke primarily with tag-lines out of the game on which he is based. Our heroes first encountered the cultured swashbuckler in command of the Special Forces northern advance guard fighting against Gol Draam's Conevntionals advance. However, if his concern over certain treasures of the dead is any indication, there is more to Raphael than meets the eye...
Ivy
Race: Electran
Rank: 1st Lieutenant
Affiliation: Republic Military, Special Forces Division
Ivy was a tall, cruel-faced woman with short-cut white hair, blood-red lips and a a blue embroidered British-style military coat and outfit. She and her brilliantly named unit, the Ivy-League, were serving under Captain Raphael on the northern frontlines. Her main characteristic seems to be her creepy love of pain of all sorts. She also apparently is a former law student, and bears no small amount of hostility towards Jag and the rest of Law Division.
Shaggy and Scooby Doo
Race: Electran and Canine
Rank: Privates
Affiliation: Republic Military, Conventionals Division
Shaggy and Scooby Doo hardly require a description, such is their renown. The former is a skinny, cowardly man with scraggly whiskers and a tasteless green shirt, while Scooby appears to be a (badly) talking brown dog. The two are known for their voracious appetites, lack of backbone and conviction that mysterious ghosts are behind any unusual appearances. They contracted Jag's lawyers to protect them from marijuana possession charges, which they claimed the mysterious 'Hedge-Monster' was responsible for.
Lady Feyne
Race: Fenixan
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: Unknown
Lady Feyne was an exotic merchant from the distant, burning sands of Fenixa, selling the desert's mystical treasures at a bazaar in the Electran jungle. Her skin-tone is darkened by the sun, and her thick hair is a spiky red, like many of her race. A while veil hangs over her face, adding to her exotic and mysterious allure, and a great scimitar is carried with each over her back. Although claiming a purely mercantile profession, she seems to have some interest in a certain infamous Special Forces Major, and is likely more than she seems.
Dr. Ewell B. Saari
Race: Tortalian
Rank: Civilian
Affiliation: Himself
The name of Dr. Ewell B. Saari is most famously known attached to his special magical health elixir, which he was seen hawking at the Bizarre Bazaar in the jungles of Electra. Although his prices are steep, you're sure to be sorry if you pass up on such an amazing offer.

Rank: Force Captain
Affiliation: Spheran Coalition, the House of the Dragon
Adora was a stern-faced, blonde woman leading a Force Squad under the banner of the House of the Dragon, which she was convinced was not in any way evil in spite of strong evidence to the contrary. In battle she could Stand in the Back behind her troops and fire her shocker rifle, but her greatest power was revealed when she held aloft her magic sword and transformed into She-Ra, Princess of Power! For the honour of Graysk -- err, Vygrymm!!
George Foreman
Race: Spheran
Rank: Armsmaster
Affiliation: Spheran Coalition, the House of the Dragon
George Foreman was a big burly man and a pro-boxer who led a squad along with Force Captain Adora to capture the Tigers deep in the Electran Jungle. As well as his deadly fists, he could cook up one mean meal with his George Foreman low-fat grill. It would take the full power of a Spheran Warlord to take George down for the three-count.
MEGALODON!
Race: Shark
Rank: Shark
Affiliation: Shark
Mighty MEGALODON was a gigantic, prehistoric shark the size of a Greyhound Bus that lurked in the waters near the famous Electran city of Oeila. His massive size made him all but indomitable, and his toothy maw could swallow people and even small BOATS completely whole. However, Megalodon had not only brawn, but possessed a predatory cunning as well, and has since been known to show up in a surprising variety of locations. He truly is the monster of monsters.
Falco
Race: Electran
Rank: Senator
Affiliation: Senator Calamus' Rogue Senate
Senator Falco was a dark-skinned, weaselly looking man in a Roman style toga. A former member of the Electran Senate, he fled and joined with Senator Calamus in an attempt to oust Kilant and seize back control of the Senate and the capital. His main characteristic was his obsession with a certain 'sea-snake,' that would lie in wait for its enemies and allow them to take small bites of itself before striking.
Yeda

Rank: Senator
Affiliation: Senator Calamus' Rogue Senate
Yeda was another former Senator who had pledged her support to Senator Calamus. An ancient crone of a woman with brown robes and a walking stick, Yeda proclaimed to be the oldest and wisest of the Senators. Given her predisposition to talking like a fortune cookie, it was difficult to either verify or dispute this claim.
Bearhug
Race: Spheran
Rank: Captain (?)
Affiliation: The Order of the new Kha Khan
Bearhug hardly so much as deserves his own write-up. In fact, it's been rumored that he wouldn't even show up before the end of the campaign. He almost may as well not have. Bearhug was a big, furry monster of a man whose only real purpose (and tag-line) was to 'put the squeeze' on his opponents. He was an officer in Genghis Khan's Auxiliaries and a comrade of Captain Krog, although this latter practically never let him into the camera shot, and certainly not before the end of the adventure.
Maestro
Race: Electran

Phil Ken Sebben
Race: Electran
Rank: Head Legal Counsel
Affiliation: Republic of Electra, Law Division
Hah-HAH - boss! This smug and repetitive phrase would usually be the initial greeting given by Phil Ken Sebben. A blond man immaculately dressed in a tuxedo, he had a small well-kept mustache and a complete lack of depth-perception due to having an eyepatch over one eye. Phil was the head of the Republic Military Law Division, though some have expressed surprise that despite this important station, he made no appearance for the vast majority of the campaign. Phil would describe himself as a "benevolent-ish dictator," although his subordinates might not quite be so complimentary. His major characteristics were his smug laugh at pretty much any situation and his predisposition for implementing oppressive, color-coded security measures.
Clovey the Clover
Race: Clover?
Rank: Official Mascot
Affiliation: Fortune Flakes Cereal
Though the folksy and often blarney-filled culture of Denchul rarely gets beyond the planet's borders, they do have one cultural icon known through all corners of the galaxy. And that would be the mighty and powerful Clovey the Clover, official mascot of Fortune Flakes Cereal! As would be expected, Clovey looked much like a gigantic, floating four-leaf clover, with a smugly smiling face in the centre of it. In spite of the great mascot's powerful status, or perhaps because of it, a number of people seemed to have a penchant for betraying Clovey, something to which the official mascot could not take kindly.
Darth Vector
Race: ??
Rank: Mayoral Advisor and Master Physicist
Affiliation: Derry-on-River, Denchul
It should come as no surprise that the man called Darth Vector struck an imposing and unusual figure. Clad in a long black cloak with a helmeted mask covering his face, Vector was the advisor to Derry mayor and former physics professor Henry Caplan. He was also one of the few local leaders on Denchul versed in military matters, though how he obtained this expertise remains unclear. Needless to say, Darth Vector was a master of calculating the trajectories of his enemies and his own weapon, and could determine the proper vector of approach to any situation. The net-force was strong with this one.
Baldwin
Race: Electran
Rank: Mercenary
Affiliation: Unknown
The mercenary known as Baldwin remains largely a mystery. He is known to be the supplier of Electran-made arms in the Dublin Valley on Denchul, and for encouraging revolt and resistance against the authorities among the people. A blond-haired man dressed in tarnished dark armor and metal gauntlets, he could often be seen eating his favorite fruit, a dark bloody-red pomegranate. It was suspected that his offering of said fruit to those around him would bring them down to the depths of the netherworld - this prediciton would later prove to be eerily accurate.
Ultra Magnus
Race: Electran
Rank: Major, and Leader of the Autobots
Affiliation: Electran Special Forces
Ultra Magnus was the Electran officer promoted to replace Major Khaurus Vanbaal after the latter's death. How he could accomplish this feat despite having been absent from every single important battle thus far in the campaign is a mystery. He proceeded to get his squadron of Autobots wiped out by enemy firearms at an incredible rate. The most intelligent statement Magnus ever made was that he wasn't worthy of benig a leader. Truer words had never been said.
Captain Highliner
Race: Spheran
Rank: Warlord
Affiliation: Spheran Exiles, the House of Flounder
After much speculation about the existence of the passive, fish-worshipping Spherans of the House of Flounders, they finally make their appearance in the campaign's very last adventure. Their leader was not a man to disapoint the high expectations for his house - Captain Highliner, a salty sea-dog with a white beard and blue captain's hat with an anchor on it. Following Vygrymm's formation of the Spheran Coalition, the Flounders had fled the planet and were being hosted in exile on Deksiil by Justice Axen Dredd. Highliner would usually be quick to point out his own handsomeness, though the truth of this matter seemed to be in high debate, much to the Captain's disbelief.
