Welcome to Seagate!

Your not quite sure how you arrived here. You dimly recall stepping through a swirling portal. Before you are the gates to a large city, larger than any you've ever seen before. You might even guess that it is about twice the size of Waterdeep in the Realms. Turning to look behind you you see wilderness. There appears to be no road to this great metropolis. There seems to be a celebration of some sort in the city. A stunning elven Lady and a handsome Lord approach you.

"Greetings," says the lord, "Welcome to Seagate on this festive day of DomeFall. I am the Marquis of these lands, and this is my beautiful wife. You look puzzled, allow me to tell you of what has passed. We used to be a most advanced world. Some time ago all of our Gods warred on our fair world of Lom. When the destruction seemed inevitable, our Wizards College worked with many clerics to save as much as they could. I don't know if it was the wizards or the Gods themselves that spared us, but a Dome rose up, covering all of Seagate. This Dome has protected us for the last 50 years. Until today, when it fell. The bards in the Cleft Fellowship say that over 750 years have passed outside the Dome. We have sent the first of our explorers out to see if our King still holds his city, but I fear that our kingdom is no more. But enough of this boring talk. Enter the city, and tell us about yourself. Or if you wish,you can explore the wilderness."
With that the couple turn and leave you to your choices.
