Welcome to the site dedicated to me, Raymond Gittinger. At the moment I am gainfully employed at United States Postal Service as a RCA. Also I am several months into my term as a member of the counties Republican Central Committee. Being my first entry into public office I am endeavoring to learn all I can about the whys, whereas, and how's.
The most recent news is the outcome of the Gus Macker basketball Tournament in Galion. Our undersized team managed to win our first game before falling to our next two opponents. Also in recent news was the attendance of the 4th of July celebrations at my coworker Serena's residence and at the home of another friends' (Arthur) mother. Both were entertaining and enjoyable. However since I spent a vastly longer time at Arthur's' I would like to state that it was possibly the most thoroughly enjoyable evening I have spent in recent memory and the all hosts and other guests were engaging and a thrill to be around. Kudos all around.
Unto the reading for the weak. I am closing in on the end of "Conquests and Cultures" by Thomas Sowell. The book takes a look at different cultures from around the world and how either being conquered or conquering others effect sociological, cultural, and economic development. This book is truly a master piece of historical insight. A must read for anyone with an interest In the subject. While on the audio side of the "reading" list I am finishing "American Caesar: Douglas Mac Arthur". Since the audio book portion is handled while at work, I should finish it up somewhere on the mail route tomorrow. Being at the removal of Mac from the Korean war I was struck by the similarities to how that war was prosecuted and the Vietnam war. Also a very interesting "read".
