Red Alert
C&C:Red Alert is the first great realtime strategy game (in my humble opinion). It plays much better than the origional and discards the fullblown "paper, rock, scissors" strategy. Instead it adopts a no-holds-barred fight to the finish with two different, but equalized opponents. The Russians with their offensive and defensive powers and the Allies with their stealth and gps satelite. While the Russians seem to be the first choice in all categories (except the naval) they have big drawbacks that are easily exploited. Allied turrets, when grouped in fours, turn back attackers easier than the feared tesla coils. A rundown: Soviets: strike/ Allies: ambush.
Map Legend
as in my other strategy for c&c I will base each unit on its offensive power. Always group your guys and Always charge into bases. RA's hit point system is not as defined as C&C's so even machine guns can hurt your mammoth tanks.
