What will the Future be Like?
Today will be the day.
Tomorrow will never come.
Yesterday is but a dream.
Dreams will always come true.
Only in Fairy Tales!
The lies they tell are a shame!
The truths they tell are worse.
Peace is but a fantasy!
War can't be the only way...
Can it?
There has to be a way,
A way for peace and prosperity,
A way for them to come true,
A way for the stories to have a
Happy Ending.
What if the joys and innocence
of little children
Were known to those who know the truth?
what if we could all wake with a smile on our face?
what if...?
Maybe we could all see past the
Bitter lies.

Loose diamonds,
Like lost hopes,
dropped and scattered,
Never to be found again.
Diamonds falling,
like snowflakes drifting
through a darkened sky
Only to land and be forgotten.
Loose diamonds,
glittering like lightning-
burning in the sky,
igniting passions
In the blink of an eye.
I pick up every
one that I find,
but they slip through
my fingers,
tumbling down in my mind-
A shattered dream -- lost forever.
