June 19th, 1815, Belgium
Blucher's Prussians have been shattered at Ligny and are in full
retreat. Wellington, having given Ney a bloody nose at Quatre Bras,
has fallen back to Waterloo to await the French onslaught...
only to discover that Napoleon used the torrential rain on the 17th
to hide a forced march West, and outflank the Anglo-Allied army and
cut it off from Brussels. Now, Wellington is desperately trying to
readjust his army to stop the French and keep his line of retreat open.
A mixed bag of divisions from the Anglo-Allied army will go up against
two French Corps caught in march column.

Scenario Notes

• The farm in the middle of the map is treated as a town sector.
• All woods are light.
• The stream is fordable for everything but artillery.
• All Allied units are operating in Brigade sized formation, command radius is 12".
• Named Skirmisher stands count for Division or Brigade morale.
• The 8th British Brigade (Sir James Kempt) is moving offboard along the North edge of the map. They start 30" from the road and move 6" per turn. They may enter on the 2nd turn (24" from the road), the 4th turn (12" from the road) or the 6th turn (on the road). The units MUST enter within 6" of the entry point (as opposed to the normal 12" from the Brigade commander's point of entry). If any French units exit the North road before Kempt arrives, Kempt's units must enter East of the stream.
• The 1st British Heavy Brigade (Lord Edward Somerset) enters on Turn 2.
• The 5th Hanoverian Brigade (Von Vincke) starts the scenario with defend orders.
