e was the Head Knight of the Masaki Kingdom (1077-1078), ruled by King Flik Masaki. One night the Drakkar army had attacked the castle and caught the kingdom off guard. When the defending army met their attackers, they were beaten after only a few hours. During the battle, he tried to help slow the advance of the Drakkar army. Shortly thereafter, Jiro had been shot by Vic, a recently defected high-ranking enemy. He was wounded in the chest, and shot in the right lung.
ays later Jiro awoke in the home of a dead soldier's wife, only to be told that the kingdom had lost, and the royal family were all slain; with the exception of Prince Ryo, Lady Karin, and Sir Xander Masaki. He was also told that the same fate had befallen the neighboring Allus Kingdom and their king, Draker Allus.
fterwards, Jiro returned to the ruins of his homeland, Nihon, east of the Masaki Kingdom. In his hometown, Samusa, he obtained his family's armor, the Genji Armor. With the armor, he returned to the Masaki Kingdom and said goodbye to his friend, Xeres and paid his respects to the dead King Flik. Finally, he ventured to the Kingdom of Drakkar, and challenged King Vlad Drakkar to a duel. Vlad accepted, and was killed in the duel. Unfortunately, Jiro was mortally wounded during the duel.
ddly enough, one of Vlad's men, Kyron Domzel, allowed the wounded Jiro to leave unharmed. Days later, after being reunited with Lady Karin, Head Knight Xeres, and King Ianko Masaki. Vic Drakkar and Nina Drakkar, led a squad to hunt down Jiro and kill him. The squad was defeated by Jiro, Xeres, and Ianko; however, Jiro died from the wounds received from the duel with Vlad after killing Vic.
ever away from his left side was his family katana, Masamune, it is a blade with unmatched craftsmanship and had been in his family for over 400 years and possesses incredible magic power. On his right index finger was the Royal Ring of Masaki. However, he gave the ring to Xeres when he returned to Masaki, before challenging Vlad.
hortly after his burial, he was given the title "Jiro the Steadfast". For his complete dedication to the Kingdom of Masaki, and his unwavering loyalty to the throne.
