As a baby I was quite the little gadabout but I don't remember any of it.
I was born in Singapore. Left at 10 weeks old and went to live in Senghenydd in South Wales. Between one and three years I lived in Accra in West Africa. The rest of my childhood was spent in Southern England in Hampshire and then later Surrey. I obtained a BSc in Mathematics at Warwick University in Coventry and after a brief sojourn in Bristol ended up in back in Hampshire in Southampton where I have been ever since.
SOUTHAMPTON - The port from whence the Pilgrim Fathers embarked on the Mayflower. Also the port from which the Titanic sailed on its ill fated journey.
