These items are the most important things in the game. They are needed to open doors to playable worlds. To use them, find a picture with pieces missing, stand on the Jiggy shaped platform, and press A to place a piece into the picture.
Notes are needed to open note doors around Grunty's Lair. They are found in the worlds you open up with Jiggies. You can't take them off the level, but your best note score for each of the levels is added up to a grand total. There are 100 notes on each world. Try to improve youe best note scores. It is rewarding.
There are five of us on each world. Like notes, we can't be taken off the level. If you rescue all five of us on a world without dying or leaving, we will reward you with a Jiggy! (That is, inless we have already given you one in that world.)
Kazooie shoots them. They are needed for a lot of puzzles throughout the game. It is always a good idea to have a good supply of eggs.
These items are needed for Kazooie to fly, and do the Beak Bomb. Normally, you can only carry 50 of them at a time. They are important and fun to have.
These are needed to do the Wonderwing. They are scarce and you can only carry 10 at a time so be careful when it's time to use them.
Grunty stole Mumbo Jumbo's entire set of these silver, skull-shaped tokens. If you can find them along the way, Mumbo will accept them as payment for use of his magic. But don't worry, after you've paid him once at a specific location, you won't have to pay him there again.
Extra lives look like little trophys of Banjo. They are usually in out-of-the-way places so look everywhere!
Each one of these will recover one unit on the damage meter. Try to keep a full meter.
They look like Honeycomb Energy, only they don't have a center. If you collect six of these, they will extend your damage meter!
Picking up the Running Shoes automaticly triggers the Turbo Talon Trot move. They are commonly involved in a puzzle.
They automaticly trigger the Stilt Stride. The Wading Boots protect Banjo and Kazooie when they cross harmful land.
