Get the latest Quake 2 upgrade patch (version 3.20). This one fixes a few more problems and fixes some of the earlier problems that still weren't addressed.

Get other Quake2 files here. Need 64 player maps, source code, etc. It's in here.

Mods are where a lot of the Quake2 gameplay is at. With so many choices, what can I say. Take your pick.
