Gold Rush

This is an update on the gold ruch reported in the last issue. A huge gold vein has been discovered near the city of Valedein. Excited prospectors are fighting for it in a blind rage. The city, as the unofficial base of operations for prospectors of all nationalities, has been transformed into a vertiable boomtown with a gold-based economy. The Evening Star advises all its readers passing through or staying in Valedein to enjoy the atmosphere and stay away from the dig sites.

Strong winds whipped Vascale

Attackers confirmed

A hurricane has devastated the city of Vascale. Scientists are arguing over it's origins, which are as yet undecided. The whole city has been badly damaged, with only a few scattered buildings and but one-half of the palace still standing. The death toll has not yet been taken, but the number of homeless is estimated to be around 400. The identity of the attackers who killed an innocent man in Scome last week has been confirmed. The attackers were from the Dark Brotherhood. Our sources indicate that the dead man was identified by the Dark Brotherhood as a traitor within their ranks, hence his death.

Help wanted

Thieves guild building gutted

This is a great window for opportunity and fame. please apply now! The local Thieves Guild in Massasuri has been burnt by the city's guards. An imprisoned member revealed the location of the building under torture. The guards then quickly stormed the premises, capturing all members before gutting it. Massasuri, whose laws used to be tolerant of thieves, has new legislation declaring that this criminal guild is forever banned from carrying out its activities within, and in the vicinity, of the city.
