Artifacts forged!

Last Monday, The Dwynnen Artifact Nation Group or DANG captured some of the leaders behind the consistent forgery of Knight's Artifacts
like Auriel's Shield and the Lord's Mail. Thanks to a swift collective action between DANG and Trybekk Wolff, Artifact Lady, the culprits were
caught red-handed and brought to trial. Their trial was as short as it was satisfying. The forgers were sentenced to bunniepetting*, a sentence
so vile that even the prosecuters complained, but Judge Hannibal* wouldn't listen. DANG hopes this will be the end of artifact forgery, but as
long as Frank N Furter*, Cross-Dresser, is still out there with the DagHex machine, they will not rest.

THIEVES GUILD STRIKES AGAIN
From our local correspondent.
Yesterday, the Thieves Guild had the courage to break into our building and steal some expensive pictures.  Sara Wolff was out for some news, and the
building was only guarded by the city guards of Ykalon. Then the thieves took their chance and stole some
pictures and other values. A shocked Sara Wolff:"This was the last time I hired the city guards for guarding my office, I really thought that I had trained them good, but obviously they became lazy after I retired as Guardian of Ykalon" This is a black day in our history. We won't forget this soon. "I'll be an eternal enemy of the TG from now on" ended Sara.

Strange sightings in Dragontail Mountains

Last friday, B'rutdh, a local fisherman, was out on the Dragontail Loch, when he saw a mysterious silhouette a few yards
beneath the water. He claims the silhouette rised up to the surface and then surged out of the water. The thing then flew
away. B'rutdh described the thing as a huge winged, scaly beast. It could bethe description of a dragon, but no-one ever
saw a dragon in High Rock, so it would be impossible. So far the DBG, Daggerfall Bureau of Guards, have not made any
comments, except "They're looking into it". This reporter will get to the bottom of this (story, not lake) and report more on
this issue later.

Assasination foiled!

Last Thursday, the Knights of the Dragon prevented an assassination of the
ruler of Knightstown, Duke Aldingwall. A person who wants to be anonymous
gave them evidence that the assassins would strike when the Duke returned to
his castle after hunting. His escort was trapped, but the attackers hadn't
count on a battallion heavily armed knights. The battle was short and the
villains fled, with the knights close at their heels. Most of the troop was
caught or killed, but the leader managed to escape. The Duke is allright,
only a bit shocked. Why the assassins attacked is unclear yet. The Dark
Brotherood say they know nothing about this case and it is likely they
indeed don't. It may have something to do with the election of the council
of Daggerfall. The Duke is a strong candidate and many other rulers are
jealous and try to take his position. By the failure of this assault, Duke
Aldingwall will only grow in popularity, so the opposite is achieved.
