Java 1.1 Support

The puzzles games on this site only run on browsers which fully support Java 1.1. If your browser has some support for Java, but not enough, you are likely to see the following error message:

Applet exception: class eriban.something.Something not found java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: eriban.something.Something

If that is the case, you need to download a newer browser to play the puzzle games. Suitable browsers include:

• Netscape Communicator (recommended), version 4.06 or newer (download Netscape Communicator).
• Sun HotJava browser (download HotJava).
• Micro$oft Internet Explorer 4 (download Internet Explorer).

The puzzle games have been tested succesfully on each of the above browsers.
