*Note: The way poison functions is that if a monster successfully takes at least one Body Point off of a character via attack (not spell, etc.) you roll one combat die. If the appropriate icon is rolled, the character is poisoned, and loses the appropriate amount of attack or defend die. (ex. -1a/d is -1 attack and defend die) A character defends by rolling 1 combat die per present Body Points. They defend on white shields, and one shield must be rolled per point of damage. (ex. -2a/d must be defended by two white shields, while -1a need only be defended by one.) Damage is non reversible except by Pure potions and spells.
