Game RulesFREE FOR ALL
FREE FOR ALL - This style of multiplay is just a complete Free For All. Join in, guns blazing, and go for serious points. It's pretty much everyone for themselves no prisoners, no mercy. If Regeneration is on, no matter if the game is an Open or Closed game, you'll be awarded one point per inflicted point of damage. You'll get 25 points for killing an opponent and lose 25 points for dying by your own hand. If Regeneration is off and the game is closed, you'll get 1 point per kill and 1 point for being the last player alive. Also, if there is a tie, being the "last man standing" will break the tie.
ASSASSIN - As an Assassin, you need to eliminate your target before you are eliminated. Your target is assigned automatically when you enter the playing field or when you regenerate. When new players enter the game, they do not become a target until regeneration, and are at a point disadvantage for just having started the game. If Regeneration is on, no matter if the game is closed or open, you'll receive 1 point for killing your assigned target. You get no points for killing anyone else and a point is taken away if you kill yourself. If Regeneration is off, the points are the same as Regeneration on, except you get 1 point for being the last player alive.
SMEAR THE CYBORG - One of the coolest multiplayer options in Outwars is Smear The Cyborg. In this version of multiplay, you'll find a Cyborg Ball upon the playing field. If you pick it up, you become the Cyborg. The Cyborg has access to all weapons while the normal players only have their Pulse Rifles. Whoever kills the Cyborg gets 10 points, while the Cyborg gets 1 point for every successful kill that it makes. To help keep players from surrounding the Cyborg Ball and waiting to go for a quick kill, the Cyborg Ball is randomly regenerated at a new location.
TEAM DEATHMATCH - The team with the highest score wins. Each individual team member scores 1 point for each enemy player killed and 1 point is taken away for killing a friendly player or dying by their own hand. The total of all team members' scores is the team score.
CAPTURE THE FLAG - As in typical Capture The Flag games, you need to capture the enemy's flag and return it to your base. The only problem is that the enemy team will be attempting to do the same with your flag. So a good offense and a strong defense are both needed to win in this lobby room. Your team gets a nice point bonus of 20 points for returning with the enemy flag to your base. Each team member gets 1 point for every enemy killed and loses a point for killing a friendly team member or dying by their own hand.
