"The collar is put on from without, but what it encircles, comes from within.
Slavery, true slavery, comes from within."

Author, Norman,J

This unpretentious, hand made, simple piece of leather with metal rings surrounds my neck. It bears the name of the one destiny has given me to be my source, my life, and my objective. The softness of the animal skin reminds me of the pure, essential nature of my duty, the cold, hard metal represents the restraints my Master has bestowed to my soul.

It is light yet so powerful my body trembles when it is laced around my neck. It has no glitter of its own, yet it brightens my hours as it touches my skin and allows my will to become His. Its presence enhances my love and suffocates my selfishness. It is the symbol of my pride, and the mark of the ownership that guides my life.

It is only a simple piece of humble jewelry, making such a collar a meaningful object that signifies the link between my self and my Master's. It is the magnificent proof of his love, protection and care, and my safeguard in this world: I am His... I am owned... I am taken... I am claimed... I serve... I honor... I am devoted to Him... Here, you all bow to this one that has found a Master, that in His kindness, love, and protection journeys fearlessly and powerfully, for she is His continuation, for she is a part of Him.

This collar makes me the one He has chosen to share His life with. It shows to the world and to those who wish to see that I am the favored one. I am the one to whom He has granted the privilege of serving and caring for, and the one He has given His needs to be attended to; the one that will support Him; the one that will stand for Him and shield Him against pain and sorrows. I am the one that will stand between Him and worldly nonsense, and when needed, the one that will absorb, assume and dispose of His anger, His misadventures, and His miseries.

This collar represents I am His pleasure, His pride, His servant, and His concubine. I am the one that doubled His spirit, His strength, and His power, for what was mine is now His, and what will come to me, will rest on Him. This simple strip of leather carries the message of my devotion, my willingness. It gave me my name, and my purpose.

This is Celestine's collar. My Master's creation and His way of saying I am no one's but His, and the ultimate proof of His love and kindness towards the girl that seeks only his happiness and pleasure. This is Celestine's collar, and it wraps itself around my neck each time my Master ties it to remind me my heart and my soul are not inside of me any longer, but instead, have come out to belong to Him; and for that, I am grateful. This collar gives me the pride and joy of being able to say: "I am His."
