In the sleeping essence of the slave lays the willingness and the courage to please and to serve. There quietly awaits for awakening the need to please, to encourage, to bear the pride of being owned, to accept, to give, to depend on, to draw fulfillment, to trust, to experience ultimate deliverance and freedom.

It is there, in the latent seed that remains restlessly, that the slave possesses the treasure of her beauty, of her realizations. Perhaps unknowingly, perhaps subtly, the slave displays her nature aimlessly, until the day she is found. She seeks the truth, the answers for her instincts, and she is ready. And then He comes. And the slave smiles, and her heart skips a beat, and her knees fold, and she bows in submission. Almost without noticing, she is not quite aware of what is happening to her. She is blossoming.

As her blood now races through her thirsty body, her mind cannot follow what surrounds her, and her soul is too humble to recognize all the emotions, she discovers herself. And on the hands and care of her Master, she entrusts her purpose and her will.

She longs for the word, the touch, the command, the lead. She follows her Master, the one who she hides nothing from, the one she will obey and serve, the one who will decide her faith, her destiny. She regrets nothing, she accepts it all. On Him she sees her ways. From Him she takes her sustenance. For Him she breathes. To Him she gives her love, her life.

And when the doubt and darkness fall upon her, she seeks His wisdom. When tears and sadness torment her heart, she huddles at His feet and begs for the understanding and help she knows she will receive. For it is at His side, with the touch of His hands and His lips, that she finds comfort and strength.

The slave is also alert and ready to fight with her body and soul for Him. When the storms and lightnings of life disturb His peace, and when the world throws its fury upon Him, she will be His shield, His source of love and understanding, His hope, His grace, His pleasure.

She will feed to His lust, to His intellectual needs, to His accomplishments. Like a benign shadow, she will be there for Him, when He needs, when He asks for, and when He demands. She will be His pride and His joy. The slave that bears His collar, and has relinquished to His will is ready for him, always, happily, proud.

And she will strive to be worthy of His attention and love, so He will display her as His most precious toy, His most unique possession, His best friend, and the object and source of His own pleasure and happiness. And that is what she needs to be, because a slave cannot survive without serving.

For her need of pleasing, serving and being praised she will dwell in the freedom of the chains and collar her submission has given her.
