The following is the 3rd Edition entry for dragonslayers, until such time as WoTC puts out official rules.

Hit Die: d12.

Requirements
To qualify to become a dragonslayer, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.

Base Attack Bonus: +8.

Skills: Craft (armoursmithing) 5 ranks, Knowledge (dragons) 10 ranks.

Feats: Track.

Spells: Ability to cast resist elements.

Equipment: Must have crafted a suit of armour from the remains of a dragon that you defeated.

Special: Must have dragons as a favored enemy and have defeated at least a young dragon.

Class Skills
The dragonslayer class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Bluff (Cha), Climb (Str), Concentration (Con), Craft (armoursmithing)(Int), Gather Information (), Intimidate (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge (dragons)(Int), Ride (Dex), Spellcraft (Int), Wilderness Lore (). See Chapter 4: Skills in the Player's Handbook for skill descriptions.

Skill Points at Each Level: 2 + Int modifier.

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the dragonslayer prestige class.

Weapon and Armour Proficiency: Dragonslayers are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, with all types of armor, and with shields.

Dragonslaying: Dragonslayers gain a number of special benefits in combat with dragons. [TEMP] As per Ranger favoured enemy.

Defy the Dragon: [TEMP] As per evasion vs dragon breath, improved evasion at 5th lvl.

Spell Focus and Spell Penetration Feats: Dragonslayers automatically gain the benefits of the Spell Focus and Spell Penetration feats when casting a targeted spell against a dragon. [TEMP] Examples not given.

Courage of Heaven (Su): A dragonslayer of 2nd level or higher is immune to fear effects cast or created by dragons. Allies with 10 feet of the dragonslayer gain a +4 morale bonus on saving throws against these effects as well.

Protection from Dragons (Su): At 5th level, a dragonslayer grants a +2 competence bonus to AC and a +2 insight bonus to saving throws to all within 10 feet, including themself.
