As the location being travelled to is unfamiliar to all, travel by land (or air) is required. It is only 10 miles east-northeast of Waterdeep, and nothing would dare disturb such a group.

The magefair itself is being held within a huge courtyard built inside a mountain. All along the walls, there are cubby-holes, albeit large enough to house the various booths. The place is a cacophony of noise, as sound reverbrates against the distant ceiling and walls. Despite this, hearing is not a problem. There is a balcony set 20 feet above the ground, accessible to two separate wooden ramps to the north and west. Watchmen patrol these balconies, giving them a grand view of the ground below. Two massive steel columns support the ceiling above.

Indoor facilities, rest areas, and a tavern are available for those staying for more than one of the three day length of the magefair.
