Akiyoshi Cave (秋芳洞) and Akiyoshi Plateau (秋吉台) is located 10 km north of Ogoori (小郡). It is southwest of Osaka and Tokyo. It takes 3 hours from Osaka and 6 hours from Tokyo by super express "Hikari" Shinkansen (新幹線). Direct ANA flights are available from Tokyo to Yamaguchi-Ube Airport (山口宇部空港).
