Welcome to Star Wars Southern Command.
Being new must be quite bewildering and you would be wondering what's next the moment you press the 'Accept' button. Well, I will lead you through and let you know what's going to happen!

  1. Hold On !!! Have you included your Referee name and the corresponding Reference Code? You can obtain these information by presenting yourself to Internet Gaming Zone - Australia. You will have to prove yourself to a SWSC staff officer (eg, Squadron Commanders or Wing Commanders). If he/she is satisfied, he/she will become your Referee and he/she will give you his/her unique Reference Code, which you will have to input into your application form in order for it to be processed.
[Press here for the nickname of SWSC Staff Officers (Squad Commanders, Wing Commanders etc.); You can always meet up with SWSC members in Internet Gaming Zone - Australia from 10pm onwards (Sydney Time), though you can e-mail them to arrange for a special meeting if you are unable to meet them despite all efforts. You may also contact Admiral (Manpower) for arrangements.]
  2. Once your application form is received, it will be processed as soon as possible. You should check on the Member List in a day or two for your posting. 'Pending' means that your squadron will be determined at a later date (can be due to a variety of reasons).
  3. Check on the What's New section often to find out what's happening in SWSC.
  4. Once your posting is confirmed, your squad commander will get into contact with you via e-mail. If you had not received any word from him/her, it may mean that the e-mail address you submitted is incorrect. As such, email him to find out what's happening. You can find his email address in the Posting List. If that's the case, remember to update Executive Council about the error.
  5. You will be looked after by your Squad Commander once the posting is finalised. Any queries pertaining to battle, ranking and promotion should be directed to your commander. If you are unhappy about your poasting or not getting on with your SC, let me know. Alternate arrangements will be made.
  6. How do I know who's SWSC pilot when I'm on the internet?
SWSC is meeting in The Gaming Zone for now. Please include a prefix 'swsc_' before your nickname. It may take sometime when all members will change their log-in name to such, so bear with it for a while. But it's important that you do that for identification purpose and that only games played against SWSC pilots will count towards your ranking.
  7. If your application for Squad Commander, or other staff officer appointments, is accepted, you have to get to know your responsibilities and obligation .
  8. Remember that the aim of SWSC is enjoyment for all members. The more pilots there is in the league, the more fun it will be. So do not hesitate to tell others about SWSC and let them know where to find us!

Have fun and
May the Force be with you.
