Game Page

This Game page is my second page. It has some of the good fighting games for the C64 (in my opinion). Street Fighter II would have been included if it was any good for the C64, but it made a shambling mockery of the arcade game (One of my all time favourites!). Instead, here are some other games that I enjoy playing.

The Utlimate Warriors take on Southside in a boxing match (Ok, sorry. Bad joke). You could never have this arrangement in the original!

DOWNLOAD Pitfighter

Pit-fighter happens to be one of my all time C64 fighting games. Some people out there will not agree with me when I say this, but I really enjoy playing this one. The graphics are a bit jerky, I know, but the gameplay is fun when you get into it. This is a special version of Pit-Fighter, because one day when I was bored, I experimented with the game, renaming the fighter graphic files so when I loaded it up, I could choose all the other enemy characters to play with! I experimented some more and now I release this strictly unprofessional and unofficial Pit-Fighter Championship Edition version! You can still play the normal game, but now there is a table option where you can shift enemy characters around in the tournament. But note the following things:

• The Executioner won't work as a player character. He caused the game to crash.
• Mad Miles can't pick up anything.
• The characters in rounds 5 and 10 can't be picked up.
• You can now fight the good (selectable in the original only) characters against each other!

So enjoy! It's best played with two players!

DOWNLOAD Double Dragon 3

This game is the best two player scrolling beat'em up on the C64. There's weapons, lots of levels, shops, big baddies, and lots of violence to boot. Graphics are good, the game is good, the sound does let itself down a bit, but never mind that. Grab a friend and play away!

DOWNLOAD Fight Games

On this collection are three fighting games:

• Exploding fist II Tournament - Just like Way of the Exploding fist except they've got rid of that stupid point scoring Yin Yang garbage and replaced it with an energy level, so it's Kumite fun for everyone!
• Exploding fist Plus - a Rip off of IK+, but a good game anyway. Do cartwhell kicks, elbow people behind you, and there's even a bonus round which is incredibly similar to Shinobi's bonus round! Hmm.....
• International Karate + - Also known as IK+, this is the standard for three fighter karate games. Two of you can gang up on the blue guy and punch him up. There's a bonus round where you have to deflect balls with a shield. If you can complete that, you must have fast reactions!
