Modified Resistance Roll Table

This Resistance Roll Table is smoothed out and expanded to suit the needs of high level campaigns. Any GM that ever sent his players into a conflict with a sentient magical item, a local god or similar effect has experienced some significant drawbacks in the conventional Resistance Roll resolution of ROLEMASTER.

Example: Imagine a 60th level opponent (perhaps a local god or an intelligent most potent item) to roll a low open - ended RR against a 1st level PC. What should happen now? The GM could rule that the god / item would win anyway, or he could decide that the player wins this RR.
With this table, the GM could easily determine whether the god or the PC really gains advantage in this situation.

Using the following table, it is much easier to determine the effects of open - ended rolls (both high and low) on Resistance Rolls.
