The Genjinch is a caveman virtual pet by Bandai. It is in a brown tam egg with red trim, yellow buttons, and white bones all over the front, and one big white bone across the top that says "Genjinch". There is only one version sold in Japan in movie theaters showing the movie "Peking Man". You guide him through his evolution. He eats meat and mushrooms, and for the game you have to guess which one of the four holes the bones are in. When he is sick, you give him plants to heal him. He does something that looks like making pottery, and I praise him, however when you praise at the wrong time, he looks like he's been disciplined. Icons are all tam-like, and the status check is exactly the same. Very cool addition to any tam collection!
