Now, you want to know how to beat those Damn ruby and Emerald weapons, well here is how. The Emerald though, is easy as pie compared to the Ruby Weapon.

Emerald Weapon
To beat any of these weapons you basically MUST have Knights of the Round. It is almost impossible without it. I know, I have spent a lot of time trying. Well, Equip all your guys on their best Armor, and Highest Materia growth Weapon. This is easiest if you have 3 mime materia, which I reccomend. Equip everyone with a mime materia, and one guy with W-summon and KOTR. Equip another guy with Final Attavk and Phoenix also. The rest of your materia slots should be filled in with Materia you want leveled up. When you go into battle, W-summon KOTR, and keep Miming it so it does not take AP. This will eventually kill him. Your party will stay alive because if the Phoenis Final Attack Trick. If you have KOTR the timer will not make a difference at all.

Ruby Weapon
This guy is the hardest Boss in the game. Of course, he wouldn't be as hard if he didn't make two of your characters disapear at random, in the beggining of the fight. Equip all of that same materia as in the fight with Emerald Weapon, except it would be a VERY good idea to put HP absorb, and MP absorb on Knights of the Round (of course, you would have to master KOTR to do this, so either do one or the other, unless you have a lot of time and a double or triple materia growth weapon). Use KOTR on Ruby. When he sticks his arms in the air behind you, use Hades to paralyze them, and then concentrate on the body. You deserve a pat on the back if you can beat thuis guy.
