The Home of the Weren

The Home of the Weren

Welcome to the Home of the Weren: The first site dedicated to the Weren, their culture, and their homeworld, Kurg.

If I've confused anyone yet, allow me to explain: The Weren are one of the five alien races found in the Star*Drive universe, which is a campaign setting for Alternity, a role playing game by TSR.

This site will probably always be under construction.

In colaboration with the A-List, I'm slowly designing the Weren's common language. Weren Imperial Common (WIC) doesn't have the depth or complexity of a real language, but you can get an idea across with it. WIC is in an early stage of development, and will ultimatley never be finished. A few introductory files are presented here.

Character sheets

An Interview with Bill Trench a story based in my Alternity setting, which is mainly Cyberpunk.

Unfortunatley it's PL 6, so there's no weren in sight.

This is in MS Word format, around 7.0.

An Interview with Bill Trench. This is the same story, but in TXT format for your reading enjoyment...

Weren Name Generator This document has a random generator for weren names,

as tips on making ones.

Sah'teldar a story about typical weren life. This is in MS Word format.

Sah'teldar. This is the same story. This one is in standard TXT format.

"Into the Gate"

As of now, that's my site. It is far from completion, and is probably

riddled with errors. If you see any, please let me know.

In the event of an error shortage, I'd love to hear about it. :)

Most of the graphics on this page were designed by me, and rendered

by BCAD, my favorite rendering tool. Special thanks go to The

Alternity mailing list, for the debate over whether or not

a common tongue should exist.

If you want to write an addition to Weren culture, send

it in to me. I'd gladly accept submissions to this site.

Thanks for sticking around this far! In addition, due to the incredible

amount of traffic on the hallowed A-List, I check my mail fairly

often, so feel free to E-Mail me with any questions.
