This is the wonderlful page of MKR, my favourite Manga Animation. For those of you who don't know this manga let me say that this animation has a lot of things that anyone can learn. From helping the one in need until making a big, but I mean a BIG decision that would affect the world's fate. The story mainly takes place in a phantasy world called Cefiro, where everything is ruled by good thoughts and strong will. Mystical magical creatures dwell among this world and many, but many things can happen in this place. I particularly feel attracted to this story because it has a hidden message and teaches you unconsciously that helping other people is something really rewarding.
It makes you feel important and safe knowing that others will do the same to you in case of necessity. If you like mystical adventures in places that you never imagined, this is just right for you.
I have to admit that at the beginning when i first saw this manga in my country i thought, oh my God what is this? they have sharp noses and very thin legs this thing is horrible i don't want to see it. But then I continue watching the manga and I became interested in it, it has content, the story is really well done and the places, things, dialo-
gues, etc are just perfect and without forgetting that the translation to my language is well adapted. Now I REALLY like this manga on tv, it's so good no wonder it has some many fans in the world...or should I say Otaku people : )
I started watching this excellent manga when Marina (the girl with blue hair) was looking for her genie and the others were fighting with a giant monster with one eye. It was there when i kept watching it to see the outcome of the fight, and of course the young pretty girls won the battle learning something important, team work in combat.
| This story begins for the beginning like any other story, but it takes place in the tower of Tokyo, Japan where 3 girls meet in a very peculiar way. Marina and Anais (these are the names in the Spanish version) were from private colleges and they went to Tokyo's tower to visit it. Lucy, another schoolgirl, was looking the city with a telescope when she ran out of coins. She was looking all over her pocket but she couldn't find any. Then, Anais came closer to her and gave her more coins saying"Take them, I want you to keep looking through the telescope the way you are doing it, you look like you're having a good time. |

Lucy felt apart because she wasn't attending a private college, but Marina said to Lucy that she didn't have to feel that way just because she was in a different school. They looked to the window in front of them and at a drop of a hat a shiny light came through the tower's window lightening their faces. They were transported to a different world and realizing that they were falling down they started screaming. A few seconds later they landed on a big blue flying fish, Marina began acting like hysterical once she noticed where did she have landed.
The fish took them to a plain spot and dropped them off, they started wondering where they were. Marina said "This isn't Tokyo is it?" and Anais replied; "No, definitively this place isn't the tower of Tokyo, this place is so different from ours"

The name of this woman in black dress was Alanis, and once she was a Guruclef's pupil. She challenged him using the magic that he had taught her. In the meantime he summoned one of the Cefiro creatures to help the girls to escape from that place due that their mission couldn't be interrupted. A smoke cloud emerged from the land revealing a brown winged creature. The girls, a little bit undecided, climbed in the creature's back and Lucy wanted to stay and help Guruclef in the battle, but he said that it was ok and that they must go and find another person while he take care of the present situation.
Once the creature took off and start flying, Lucy again, was saying that they should go back and try to help him out, but Marina told her that there was nothing they can possibly do against that opponent who possessed magical powers. Minutes later the woman in black showed up again in front of the flying creature treatening them to attack with a magical spell. She said to them that this was the end and that they will never succeed. When the Alanis was about to cast one of her multiple spells, Lucy stood up and said "No, you cannot stop us, we have a very important mission to complete and you can't interfere with it" after that, she concentrated in her inner power that Guruclef told her to remember and from her hands arose a fire arrow that struck directly where Alanis was making her to go back and retreat.
Both, Anais and Marina, were surprised for what their friend just did against that enemy and saved them from an imminent destiny. Once the flying creature arrived to its destination the girls got off the creature's back and thanked it for the favor of moved them away from the danger. After that they started looking around to become familiar with the new place they just landed on and they noticed a temple. This was covered by weeds that grown from the top a end almost at the ground level. One of the girls discovered a door and all together got inside. Once they were in they continued advancing carefully and looked the surroundings for possible dangers ahead. While they were walking they were getting closer to the end of this long tunnel which led to something that looked like a room with unusual artifacts. As they reached the end they heard a loud noise and seconds later a big metal cage dropped over their heads making them captives in an instant. Afterward, a woman with long blonde hair came out of the darkness laughing and jumping around the caged girls. She bragged herself for having captured them in a easy way, then this woman walked closer to the cage and interrogated the young adolescents to find out why they were in her house and what they were looking for. They answered that they were looking for a person whose name was Pressea and that Guruclef had sent them to this place in the look of her special weapons and know-how.
After the girls convinced her of what they were really doing there, the blonde woman released the young girls and told them that she was Pressea, the person they were looking for. She said she was instructed by Guruclef and knew about the need of weapons in their journal, so she drove them to her weapons room a let them select the weapon of their choice. Anais picked a bow, which was her favourite practice in Tokyo and her expertise was as good as Marina's. Marina selected a long thin sword which she was good at fencing in Tokyo and finally Lucy chose a broad sword that liked almost when she saw it.
After each one of the girls had chosen their fighting weapons, the swords and bow, changed into a shinning light that went inside their gauntlet's sphere, which was part of the armors. Not long after they had selected their weapons, a brown-dark tall monster showed up inside Pressea's home. All the girls including Pressea herself, were surprised by the monster suddenly appereance. They reacted like anyone else had reacted, they jumped out of the creature's way and stayed away to prevent a close attack by the monster. From their crystal spheres they took out their weapons that appeared as bright light at the beginning, but then they became in their preferred defense and attack weapon. Lucy was the first one to attack the monster, but when she did, she noticed that her attack hadn't done anything to it which appeared to be strange to her. Then the other two girls tried unsuccessfully to hurt the tall monster but again the same weird thing happened. Each time the monster was cut by their swords edge, the monster's body regenerate itself to prevent them from killing it. After many tries the girls started to get tired and their defenses were falling behind.

The only one that kept trying again and again was Lucy, (the one on the left) she went out of the place to have more fighting space. Lucy attacked one more time to the dark-browned monster and this time she noticed that the monster didn't want to go to a small oasis that was beside it, so she start throwing fire to the creature to make it to back up directly where the oasis was. When the monster was in the oasis, she kept attacking the monster with her fire to attain her purpose of destroying the creature's vital core. Once the creature was affected for the temperature, Lucy performed another one of her attacks obtaining this time a good result from it. The monster was cut in half and seconds later it disappeared in rays of light. Lucy ended up extremely exhausted for battle that she and the others had had. The strenght of this girl seemed to be the strongest between her friends. Pressea told Lucy that her power was strong and that she and her friends could become in the legendary Magic Knights to save Cefiro from the malicious Zagato, who had captived the princess Esmeralda. Zagato along with his many servants tried to stop the 3 girls from awakening the genies that sleep in hidden temples in the world of Cefiro. Their efforts were useless because in spite of all the tough moments they girls went through, they managed to get ahead and reach their objetives. In this first part of the story, some of the good people that they met and helped, died in battle or while they |
| were trying to help the world. Cefiro is ruled by the good thoughts of the princess Esmeralda. If she doesn't have good thoughts and keeps praying for the world, this will become unstable and will start to collapse. The world of Cerifo began entering in caos when the princess fell in love with her protector, Zagato, and started having only thoughts about him. The princess summoned these girls from their world and asked them to help her and save the world of Cefiro that was going throught a mayor stage of change. They didn't know what exactly had to do in that strange world, but they did what they been told by Guruclef. They followed the instructions that this short man gave them at the beginning of their arrival and started their long journal throught the vast world of Cefiro. In their way they fought many dangerous creatures that tried to kill them, but that always with team work, they were capable of overcoming those hazards. The experience they gained in combat was priceless and as they advance they became familiar with the land in where they were standing. When these three young girls reached the end of their journal and where facing Sagato, they were surprised that he also had a guardian robot by his side. This robot was black and with a red part in the chest, arms and legs. |

| He told them that he wouldn't let them save the princess and that they must retreat immediately. The girls of course denied, so the battle started between them. Zagato's robot was strong and the girls for moments thought they wouldn't make it but Lucy, the bravest of all, stuck to the battle and soon their luck started to change giving them a chance of success.
The girls joined their inner strength and once combined created and unique robot out of the 3 genies. This new robot had parts of the three genies and their own powers mixed together. Then, they made an energy blast and aimed to Zagato. The big blast of shiny energy was too much for Zagato and he said before it was struck "Esmeralda wait, soon will be together again and forever" then his body disintegrated in the light. Once they destroyed Zagato, the girls were happy and hurried to get into the fortress where the princess was captived. They advanced throught a long corridor that seems endless, but after a few minutes they reach the light out. At the end they were in an open area with waterfalls around them. They wondered where the princess was and suddendly, a young blonde woman came out from the waterfalls and approaching to them, stood in front. The magic knights began asking her for the princess whereabouts but she remainded in silent and with her blank eyes focused on something else. |
Then, the woman replied; "I am the princess Esmeralda" the knights were confused by her answer and said that it couldn't be possible because the princess Esmeralda was short and younger. Afterwards, Lucy once convinced, believed in her word and said "It is ok now princess we have destroyed Zagato, now you are free" Seconds after, the princess's eyes turn normal and realized that Zagato had died in combat. She, full of anger, said;"What, you have killed Zagato my dear" and after those words the fortress started to tremble and collapse. The knights decided go outside throught the long corridor from where they came before. Once they were outside and safe, the fortress was falling apart piece by piece but before everything had gone down a different robot emerged from the falling fortess. This robot was in the shape of a female sagittarus and with horns to the head's sides. Then, when the girls started asking each other who that robot was, the robot told them;"You magic knights you are guilty, you killed Zagato my loved man now you will have to pay" The sagittarus, who was the princess robot, rushed to the knights trying to kill them because they killed the princess's love. The girls started telling her that she should stop because they didn't want to hurt her, but the princess rage blind her and won't let her think for herself. She initiated attacking the girls thinking only one thing...kill them because her beloved Zagato had died.
They explained her that they had to kill him because there wasn't another way to deal with it, but they didn't want to do. The princess, still blind for the crescent fury that she had within, hit the girls and was about to hurt them badly when one said "STOP, princess we don't want to hurt you please stop now" The princess Esmeralda stopped for a moment but it was soon before the girls were threatened again for the princess's robot. After awhile of struggling moments, a known voice came out of the big sagittarius saying;"Please Magic Knights, kill me now that i changed into this horrible creature, I am not good please I beg you Knights, destroy the monster that I have turn into before I do that to you" The young Knights were astonished for the princess's words and their first reaction was to say why. All, without words, stayed where they were thinking what to do when the sagittarius approached to them and attacked. They were pushed to a distant rock for the great impact that they had received, Then, again, the princess's voice was heard saying exactly the same words that she said before."Please my Magic Knights kill me now, if you don't do it my anger will destroy you along with the beautiful Cefiro and a total destruction will occur" The girls convinced, but at the same time hesitating a bit, agreed to fulfill the princess desire. Afterwards, the 3 knights whose genies had been combinated into one, prepared to attack the sagittarius. Both the Magic Knights and the princess, were facing to each other at a certain distant when Lucy said; "Forgive us princess, we don't want to do this"
The girls and the sagittarius advanced to each other at great speed grasping their weapons and when they were about to release their attack the young knights said again with tears in their eyes;"Forgive us princess please forgive us" The knights' sword pierced the sagittarius body and a deep silent was heard. After what it had happened, the princess said these last words; "Thanks Magic Knights, thank you very much now i could join my love and be together forever" Seconds later the sagittarius' body disappeared in a bright light like Sagato did when he was struck by the energy ball. The young girls asked each other if that was the end and if Cefiro will be ok after it had lost the main pillar. They knew that without the princess being the planet pillar it will disintegrate in a matter of minutes. They were sad because they thought that their efforts to save the princess were in vain when they had to kill her. Everything they had done made them feel terrible because at the end they couldn't restore Cefiro to its original state and the princess had died. The only one that was more concerned for the outcome of that battle was Lucy, who remained thinking in her last action against the princess. She felt bad for what she had done to her when they were supposed to rescue her from Zagato's clutches. When everything was concluded the three girls returned to their world and continued with their normal lives back there in Japan.
That is mainly a resume of the first part of this awesome manga wrote by a group of women. Some of the characters weren't mentioned here because the whole story is too big to fit into this small place, but their role was important too. In my opinion this is one well written manga that has become one of my favourite mangas not like many others that are just based on meaningless fights that lead to nothing else that just a sense of violence combined with control upon others. This manga has content like i said early and not only teaches you to be caring to others but also shows you how powerful friendship can be in critical momments.
